Perfectly Named — Sister Wives Star Chooses Storybook-Inspired Name for New Home That Feels Magical

A star of TLC’s Sister Wives has picked a storybook name for her new home, and it perfectly reflects a fresh start and new chapter.

The Taeda Farms Instagram page shared an update announcing the completion of the homes belonging to Maddie and Caleb Brush and Janelle Brown. After years of planning, developing, and building, both homes are now occupied by their respective families.

However, the post revealed that Maddie and Caleb wanted to give their home an extra special touch by giving it a name. This would set it apart from their Taeda Farms business and create a space that feels uniquely their own.

The post said, “Somewhere between building a farm, raising kids, and trying to live slower, we hit a funny problem: What do you even call your house? The farm has a name, Taeda Farms, but the house?”

“For a while, it was just ‘the home place.’ Boring. Uninspiring.”

It continued, “One night we said, let’s name her. Not grand, not Downton-style, just something cozy and timeless. We wanted a name that felt like it had been there forever, whispered through the trees.”

“The farm will always be Taeda, but the place with muddy boots, late-night porch lights, and baby lullabies? We needed a name. Naming it made everything feel more real…like a home with a story,” the post concluded, directing viewers to a link where the home’s name was revealed.

So what is the name of Maddie and Caleb’s home? “Pinetop feels right for a house tucked among the trees. It sounds a little old-timey, maybe a little storybook-y. It sounds humble, but cozy—and that’s what we want.”

On February 27, Janelle Brown announced via Instagram that her home was finished. She spoke of the thrill she felt upon getting the keys and beginning a new life chapter.

Taeda Farms may still be a work in progress, but the new family homes located on its property are already filled with meaning. For Maddie and Caleb Brush, giving their home a name made it feel like the beginning of a story they can truly call their own.
