Liz Johnston Shares What It Would Take To Reconcile With Anna

In recent years, fans have seen the discourse between Anna Johnston and her family of 7 Little Johnstons fame. Recently, her sister Liz has talked about a possible reconciliation. However, she also touched on what would be needed to make it happen.
Anna Johnston Decided Not To Appear In Season 17 Of 7 Little Johnstons
Viewers were introduced to the Johnston family through the TLC series, 7 Little Johnstons. The series gives a look into the family’s lives as they each live with dwarfism.
Liz and Anna are both the daughters of Trent and Amber Johnston. Anna had been adopted from Russia in 2000 when she was four years old.

In recent years, Anna has become estranged from the family, eventually deciding not to appear on the family’s show for Season 17. Her fractured relationship with her family had notably been a major storyline during the previous season. However, the family has continued to discuss Anna on the show.
In a recent interview with Reality Nightcap, Liz admitted that she and Anna were “not speaking.” She also emphasized that it was Anna’s own decision to leave the series.
At the time, Liz shared, Just like in one of the earlier episodes this season, my mom put it well … we have the choice of being on the show and [Anna] has that choice too, and she did not want to be.”
Liz, who didn’t include her sister for her wedding to Brice Bolden last year, stated that she and Anna were currently “on different paths.” However, she expressed some hope that they could reconcile.
Despite Saying They Were On ‘Different Paths,’ Liz Felt There Was A Way To Work Things Out
As Liz explained, “Hopefully, one day, our paths will come back together and things will be mended and fixed. But as of right now, we are just navigating. Everybody in my family [is] navigating their lives in their own ways.”
However, Liz admitted what was needed for there to be a reconciliation. As she continued, she noted that there were two sides to the story. Liz explained that what was needed was for them to sit down and talk things out, meaning that such a meeting also needed to be scheduled.

Liz noted that this might be easier said than done, what with Anna leaving the show. She continued, “It does make it a little difficult now that she’s no longer part of the show– as of right now– so we’ll just have to wait and see. It takes time and I mean, generally, that’s the biggest thing. It takes time … and there’s a lot of unknown things that have happened between now and then.”
