Eric were I remember Cody I remember Cody was andĀ I that was the first time I thought he’sĀ on he must be on amphetamines because heĀ was racing up and down that hill and IĀ was like something’s wrong this guy justĀ did meth.
You guys, we’ve got to talk aboutĀ special forces. We are getting so muchĀ tea on what it’s like to interact withĀ Cody Brown. It’s kind of insane. For years, we’ve had to draw our ownĀ conclusions on what Cody Brown could beĀ like in real life because we’ve neverĀ gotten anything that’s felt authenticĀ because Cody’s co-stars were his familyĀ members who were trying to be on theirĀ best behavior in order to keep himĀ showing up from time to time to play dadĀ for a few minutes.

None of the cast ofĀ Special Forces gives a about what Cody thinks about them, and they areĀ spilling all of the tea on what it wasĀ like to spend up to a week and a halfĀ with him in Morocco. We have a lot toĀ discuss today. Let’s get into today’sĀ video.
Hey everyone, what’s up? It’s Sarah and welcome back to my channel. It reallyĀ seems like everyone has a podcast theseĀ days and you can view that as a blessingĀ or a curse. Today, for the purposes ofĀ discussing what it’s like to interactĀ with Cody Brown, it is for sure aĀ blessing. Gia Judites, Ravi Patel,Ā Briana Leaglia, Shawn Johnson, andĀ Andrew East, Jesse James, and EricĀ Decker, and Randall Cobb are all castĀ members from season 4 of Special ForcesĀ who have spoken out about what it wasĀ like working and living with Cody Brown.
And let’s just say the overall consensus is not flattering. There’s beenĀ speculation about possible substanceĀ use, accusations of using expiredĀ supplements, possible neurologicalĀ conditions, eccentricities, and overallĀ just not being a great team player. FromĀ these podcast episodes, I think BrianaĀ Chicken Fry Leaglia has the mostĀ negative feelings about Cody, but theyĀ all seem to agree. Cody was for sure theĀ weirdest cast member. Here’s a clip ofĀ Briana and Ravi on the podcast KFCĀ radio. And Briana describes Cody as theĀ cast member she had the biggest issuesĀ with.
I feel like our season had to have beenĀ exceptional in terms of the quality ofĀ people. Everyone was really tough.
It’s a squad name, too. Like like allĀ the names you read off were like theseĀ are legit.
people who you wouldn’t expect to beĀ tough as hell like got through thisĀ thing in an insane way and everyone wasĀ really like when the first day I lookedĀ around I’m like that could be one ofĀ that could be one of the unsufferableĀ people that could be one of theĀ insufferable people and for the mostĀ part like I thought everyone wasĀ Why’ you say names Revy who were youĀ sayingĀ well I was wrong though I was wrongĀ yeah I there there was only one personĀ on the cast I like didn’t get along withĀ why’ you say namesĀ Cody Brown.
I don’t even know who it is.

Who is it? Cody was probably the oneĀ that the most people I think didn’t getĀ get along with becauseĀ he’s the sister wives guy, but I didn’tĀ know who he was going into the show. IĀ never heard of sister wives. He had likeĀ multiple what? He had like he has likeĀ 28 kids and like four wives or some __ He used to have four wives now.
Bro, you know what? That sounds guy hardĀ to get along with.
That sounds worse as horses. I’d ratherĀ do that than have 28 kids and fourĀ wives.
He’s down to one wife. He kept tell HeĀ kept telling us he wasn’t a polygamistĀ because he only has one wife now.
Um which I don’t know if that’s how itĀ works, butĀ I was like, “No, I think we just haveĀ one left.” I think you’re like out ofĀ wives.
All ofĀ Yeah, you got dumped, bro.
Yeah,Ā he’s just like he’s just like he’sĀ almost like a like a 10-year-old boy inĀ terms of his like enthusiasm for doingĀ things and he has a way of in everyĀ moment he’s observing what’s happeningĀ and kind of saying it out loud and thenĀ also trying to give motivationalĀ speeches to everyone around him and thatĀ reallyĀ he’s [Ā __Ā ] up every challenge and IĀ always had to be with him on everythingĀ and I’m I’m mommying him. I’m likeĀ you’re three times my age, bro. Oh myĀ god. I had a blowout fight with him. IĀ was like, I hope this isn’t even airedĀ cuz I was like, you suck. I do not like you. We’re not the same. I’m soĀ frustrated. I want to circle back toĀ what Robbie said about not really beingĀ sure if you’re not polygamist anymoreĀ just because you only have one wifeĀ left. I think we can accurately sayĀ Christine is no longer a polygamistĀ because she has publicly separatedĀ herself from her former religion and theĀ practice of plural marriage. I think youĀ could also say that Mary is no longer aĀ polygamous and she was granted a releaseĀ from Cody. But Cody has only everĀ claimed to be a monogamous by default.
He about how hard it was to have three nagging wives, but he’s never saidĀ he no longer believes that polygamy isĀ the way to Bloomingdale’s heaven. So, IĀ think Ravi brings up a good point.

Briana has a whole other podcast of her own called Plan Bri Uncut. And a coupleĀ of weeks ago after the episode aired inĀ which we saw Cody chuckling after askingĀ Briana what her qualifications for beingĀ on special forces was, you know, being aĀ podcaster is so much more laughable thanĀ being famous for being a polygamist.
Briana gets on her podcast and readsĀ this dude for filth. It’s a crazy show.
I don’t think many people like seek toĀ go on special forces as the reality showĀ that they go on. like they want to doĀ Big Brother or the Challenge or TradersĀ or The Bachelor or Dancing with theĀ Stars. No one wants to go on specialĀ forces and if they do, they’re insane.
They’re Cody Brown. If they like seekĀ out special forces, you’reĀ crazy. And that’s like someone like CodyĀ Brown. Um, which I could get into a lotĀ a lot about Cody Brown. And after seeingĀ clips of last night where he just likeĀ completely diminishes my whole entireĀ like livelihood being like podcasting.
He asked me what I did and I was likeĀ podcasting? He’s like that’s yourĀ qualification? That’s how you make yourĀ money.
Sir, how do you make your money?
Berating women, being a narcissist onĀ a TV show.
Is that’s how you make your money?
That’s what I should have said. I didn’tĀ know who he was. I didn’t know what he IĀ didn’t know who this man was on theĀ show. I didn’t know who anyone was. IĀ didn’t know who Jesse Smlet was. IĀ didn’t know what he went through. IĀ would have asked him more questions. IĀ would have been like more involved inĀ that. I didn’t know anyone’s story. IĀ know Gia’s story. I knew Teresa’s story.
I didn’t know anything else. And IĀ obviously knew Mark Estus, but hisĀ highlight episode hasn’t happened yet. IĀ don’t know if he has like a story. IĀ didn’t know Swaggy P’s story. I didn’tĀ know anyone’s freaking story. But if IĀ knew who Cody Brown was, I wouldn’t haveĀ been so like nonchalant. I thought heĀ was like mentally slow to be honest.

IĀ was like I felt bad for him cuz I wasĀ like oh he has like a like you know whenĀ you feel bad for old people I felt badĀ for him because he feels I felt like heĀ had no social cues which he doesn’t andĀ I don’t feel bad saying any of thisĀ after I know who he is and like what heĀ thinks about women and how he treatedĀ women and yeah like during the show IĀ felt bad being mean to him cuz I’m likeĀ he’s slowĀ you know what I mean like you can’t beĀ mean to someone that has special needs.
That’s crazy. But he doesn’t haveĀ special needs. He’s just mentally Ā But after all the I’ve seen about him after, I’m like, “Oh my god,Ā Brianna, if I let the Briana wrathĀ actually go on this guy, it would haveĀ been epic. This man is an insane person. And he treats women so badly, soĀ poorly.” Briana says during filming sheĀ felt bad being mean to him because sheĀ thought he was mentally slow.
But he’s not slow, says Briana. He’sĀ just mentally Mentally is absolutely an accurate way to describeĀ Cody Brown. Ravi Patel, who appears toĀ have gotten along with everyone, went onĀ Gia Judice’s podcast called CasualĀ Chaos, and the two of them discussedĀ their experiences with Cody.
I remember Cody I remember I rememberĀ Cody was and I that was the first time IĀ thought he’s on he must be onĀ amphetamines because he was racing upĀ and down that hill and I’m like this isĀ not I’m in really good shape and I’mĀ almost positive I’m crushing it rightĀ now. and he was like zipping by meĀ almost like a cartoon and I was likeĀ something’s wrong. This guy just didĀ meth. It was unlike anything I’ve everĀ seen. And and and he was like thatĀ throughout the competition. HisĀ training. Did you talk to him about hisĀ training? He’s That guy’s hilarious. YouĀ should interview him. He’s the mostĀ interesting guy in the whole cast.
Sorry. He did handstands for warm-ups.
He did a handstand where he walkedĀ around on a handstand as a warm-up andĀ he would work out for three hours a dayĀ or something like that. Four hours.
Crazy. And he always had a weightedĀ vest. Listen, the state that he was inĀ and how physically fit he was for hisĀ age was wildly impressive.
I’m not kidding. I think he is the mostĀ interest like fascinating guy in theĀ cast. Like the way he first of all,Ā obviously he comes from, you know, theĀ oddest background of anyone, I wouldĀ say. But then he uh the way he preparedĀ and just like the little thing he’s justĀ got a lot of little he’s just I don’tĀ know. He’s an eccentric dude.
For the most part on special forces, heĀ was, you know, he honestly seemed likeĀ very he was very caring. There wereĀ certain points where I felt like espeĀ cuz I was partnered with him at some atĀ some time. So I mean I think he facesĀ like a lot of controversy in some of theĀ challenges because he was so physicallyĀ fit and he really he really was probablyĀ one of the most physically fit out ofĀ all of us. He he was advanced. He couldĀ just speed through these challenges. AndĀ I I thought like his personality is likeĀ a earnestĀ uh 12-year-old boy. Like a guy who’sĀ really uh excited to be there. He’sĀ always giving everyone unsolicited tipsĀ on what needs to happen next. But IĀ think he rubbed a I I know he rubbed atĀ least a couple people the wrong way, butĀ I didn’t actually see any of that. DidĀ you have beef with him or were you tightĀ with him?
I didn’t have actual beef with him, butĀ I was in a challenge with him. You know,Ā Bri got a little annoyed. He just wasn’tĀ being the best team player because heĀ felt that he could, you know, go andĀ excel during that challenge. maybe weĀ were kind ofĀ holding him back a little bit. He didĀ have really great things about him andĀ then I obviously think you saw hisĀ struggles which just come from the wayĀ he grew up and I think he did a goodĀ job.
I think he just his people skills,Ā social emotional intelligence areĀ probably not where he wants them to be.
And he also strikes me as a guy who’sĀ going through like I I think it appearsĀ that he’s like going through a somewhatĀ beautiful kind of like he’s trying toĀ reinvent himselfĀ and grow up.
So Robbie describes Cody’s behavior asĀ zipping by him like a cartoon andĀ thinking to himself, Cody must be onĀ amphetamines or meth or something. HeĀ was flying by professional athletes.
Now, Cody did say in an interview beforeĀ Special Forces aired that he had like 9Ā weeks to prepare, and you can tell heĀ took the prep more seriously than someĀ of the other cast members we saw thatĀ struggled and tapped out early. RaviĀ tells Gia she needs to interview CodyĀ because he thinks that Cody was the mostĀ fascinating to talk to. Gia goes on toĀ point out a classic Cody personalityĀ trait that we see on Sis Rives all theĀ time. Cody trained and he performed wellĀ in the challenges, but he was leavingĀ his team in the dust. He wasn’t a teamĀ player at all. He also wasn’t a teamĀ player with his family. He routinely putĀ himself above his family and he justĀ doesn’t pay attention to anyone who mayĀ be struggling around him. Shawn JohnsonĀ and Andrew East have a podcast calledĀ Couple Things and they had almost all ofĀ the Nashvillebased cast members on theirĀ podcast recently and they talked aboutĀ Cody and his apparent stash of expiredĀ supplements.
