Ethan Plath’s Heart Was Shattered

Welcome to Plathville has seen its share of divorces and heartbreaks. Barry and Kim Plath split in 2021, but did not announce the end of their marriage until 2022. They filed for divorce two years later, and claimed that their relationship was “irretrievably broken.” Barry and Kim shared nine children, which was a hard pill to swallow, but they have tried to co-parent as best as possible. They were married for twenty-four years. Ethan Plath got married to Olivia (Meggs) in 2018, but their divorce was finalized in 2026.

He then found love with a woman named Teegan Nichols, but they struggled a lot. Ethan was still married to Olivia, and he carried baggage from that time with her. Moreover, communication was a problem, so they parted ways. In a leap of faith, Ethan moved to be near her, but that failed him. Therefore, he recruited his family to move back home. Now, it seems that she has moved on and very happily so. According to Starcasm, Teegan showed off her new man, Shawn Forlenza, 26, originally from Spring Valley, New York.

He seems to be incredibly smart, an athlete, a college graduate, and a great fit for Teegan. Finally, Shawn was in graduate school, so he appears to be quite ambitious, and the two look very happy. As of now, it does not appear that Ethan Plath has commented on her new romance.

When Welcome to Plathville fans saw Teegan’s new man, they immediately rushed to the comments. They felt Shawn was a much better match for Teegan and a definite step up from Ethan Plath. Moreover, they loved how accomplished he was and appreciated his background:
