‘Welcome To Plathville’: Ethan Calls Veronica A ‘Demon’ & FLEES Lydia’s Rehearsal Dinner

Welcome to Plathville' Star “Proud To Introduce” New Girlfriend After Divorce

The family was taken aback when Veronica showed up at the wedding rehearsal, having previously said she wouldn’t be attending for her “mental well-being.” She explained she changed her mind after a therapist advised her she would regret missing it. She made a pact with her brother, Micah, to stay by her side, but Micah remains confused about her motives, suspecting she might not trust him alone with his brother’s girlfriend, Tegan.

Veronica’s presence immediately caused tension, especially with Ethan, who called her a “demon.” He was furious that she was spreading a rumor that Tegan has an OnlyFans account, which Tegan denied. Ethan feels Veronica is trying to control his brother and is obsessing over a lie.

Growing Concerns About the Groom

Several family members expressed strong reservations about the groom, Zach. Isaac, who had recently been living with him, was particularly frustrated. He described Zach as lazy and disrespectful, noting that he never helped with chores or cleaning, instead spending all day in his room and only coming downstairs to eat.

Lydia’s mom also saw “red flags,” pointing out Zach’s “lack of initiative” and his tendency to “usurp” Lydia’s desires. She gave an example where Zach overruled Lydia’s choice for wedding colors—hunter green—because he insisted on blue so he could “pop” in a suit he already owned.

Ethan’s Emotional Breakdown

The mounting stress and drama became too much for Ethan to handle. He was visibly upset not only by Veronica’s presence but also by his deep-seated feeling that Lydia’s marriage to Zach was “forced” and rushed. He couldn’t understand how a religious person like Lydia wouldn’t listen to the advice of her family about her decision.

The episode ended with a highly emotional Ethan reaching his breaking point. He declared, “I don’t know that I can do this,” before fleeing the scene in a dramatic fashion.
