Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown has shared some personal and emotional news with his fans. On Monday, April 21, Bear, 37, took to Instagram to announce that he and his wife, Raiven Adams, have decided to go their separate ways after two years of marriage.

“Raiven and I have decided to separate,” Bear wrote in the caption of a heartfelt selfie. “This was not a quick or impulsive decision. It’s something we have been discussing for a while now, and after many conversations, we feel this is the best choice for both of us and, most importantly, for our children.”

Bear and Raiven’s relationship has been in the public eye since they first appeared together on Alaskan Bush People. The couple tied the knot in January 2022 in a small, intimate ceremony attended by family and close friends. Over the years, they have faced numerous challenges, including navigating life in the spotlight, dealing with personal hardships, and welcoming new additions to their family.

The couple shares three children: River, 5, Cove, 2, and their youngest son, Everest, who was born in August 2024. Bear emphasized that co-parenting their children will remain their top priority moving forward.

“Raiven and I are still good friends and will continue to co-parent our three beautiful children together,” Bear explained. “Our focus has always been, and will always be, on providing a loving and supportive environment for River, Cove, and Everest.”

Despite the emotional weight of the announcement, Bear was quick to assure fans that there are “no hard feelings” between him and Raiven. “We will always have love for each other,” he wrote. “This is a mutual decision, and we both agree that it’s the healthiest path for our family. Sometimes love looks different than we expect, and for us, that means stepping back from being a couple but remaining united as parents.”

In his message, Bear also asked fans and followers to be respectful and kind to Raiven during this transitional period. “Please, I ask everyone to be kind and respectful toward Raiven. She’s an amazing mother and a wonderful person. This has not been an easy decision for either of us, but we’re doing what we believe is right. Let’s show love and not hate.”

Bear concluded his post by expressing gratitude for the unwavering support from fans over the years. “Thank you all so much for your support throughout the years. You’ve been with us through our highs and lows, and it means the world. God bless each and every one of you.”
