Ethan Plath goes public with his new relationship with Teegan Nichols in the August 5 episode of Welcome to Plathville.
Teegan is Ethan’s first girlfriend following his split from ex-wife Olivia Plath, whom he was married to for five years. The couple officially filed for divorce in February 2024, citing their separation date as February 2023.
Ethan and Teegan had been dating for about 10 months before appearing on the show. They met through social media when Ethan was newly single. He recalled being intrigued by a comment Teegan left on a photo of his motorcycle, which led them to start talking.
Teegan admitted she never expected a reply from Ethan, so she was shocked and excited when he messaged her back. She also visited the area where Ethan grew up and noted how different their upbringings were.
Teegan is a single mother and expressed how much she loves being a mom. Ethan said he’s completely okay with her having a child and even mentioned that he hopes to have a big family of his own someday.
Teegan suggested visiting Ethan’s mom, Kim Plath. Ethan said reconnecting with his family was important to him after the divorce. Kim appreciated Teegan’s easygoing nature and noted that, unlike Olivia, Teegan doesn’t try to control Ethan.

Earlier in January, Ethan had posted photos of him and Teegan on Instagram with a sweet caption introducing her to fans. However, the post has since been deleted, and neither of them currently appear on each other’s social media, sparking speculation that they may have broken up — though no official confirmation has been made.
