Josh Duggar’s Family Visits Restricted After Being Caught With a Cell Phone in Prison
Josh Duggar, the former star of the reality TV show 19 Kids and Counting, is currently serving a 12-year prison sentence for possessing child sexual abuse material. He has recently been moved to solitary confinement after being caught with a cell phone behind bars.
This incident could severely impact his wife, Anna Duggar, who has steadfastly supported him since his trial began. Despite deleting her social media in February 2023, Duggar family followers believe she still stands by her husband’s side.
A source told the Daily Mail that Anna has been regularly visiting Josh with some of their seven children, even enduring hours of waiting due to reported power outages at the prison.
However, with Josh’s move to solitary confinement, Anna’s visitation rights may be restricted. According to the SCI Seagoville handbook, inmates sanctioned to a disciplinary transfer must remain in a special housing unit for a period of eight months, during which visitation rights can be limited or disallowed.
It remains unclear how this will affect their relationship or if Josh can somehow get his time in solitary confinement reduced.
