New!! Anna Duggar Shares Breaking News | It Will Shock You | Duggar Family Update
Anna Duggar Reportedly Struggling as Josh’s Appeal Drags On: “She Just Wants to Move On”
As Josh Duggar’s legal battle continues with a new appeal, those close to the Duggar family are saying Anna Duggar is feeling the weight of it all. After years of standing by her husband throughout his arrest, trial, and conviction, sources say Anna is emotionally exhausted and ready to close this painful chapter in her life.

According to an insider who spoke with In Touch Weekly, Anna is especially stressed lately—and the ongoing appeal is only making things worse. The source claims that Anna has reached a breaking point and is no longer interested in being involved in any part of Josh’s legal proceedings.
“Anna wants nothing more than to check out and forget everything about this nightmare that Josh has brought upon her and their children,” the source said. “She just wants to move on. That’s one of the reasons she’s no longer on social media—it stresses her out.”
Stepping Away from Social Media
Earlier this month, Anna deleted her Instagram account, which had previously been her main connection to the public and Duggar fans. Her decision to step away was reportedly due to the overwhelming pressure surrounding Josh’s appeal and the ongoing media attention.
Just last week, Josh’s legal team filed an appeal brief, which means the case will continue to remain active in court—even as he serves his 12.5-year sentence in federal prison.
The source added:
“Of course, Anna once prayed that Josh was wrongly convicted. She believed he had changed. But after he was found guilty and sentenced, she had no choice but to accept it. The appeals might be necessary legally, but for Anna, they feel like this nightmare is just being dragged out all over again.”
Coming to Terms with a Painful Reality
Anna, now a mother of seven, has reportedly remained on Duggar family property since Josh’s conviction. However, it’s unclear how involved her own side of the family is in her life right now. In the aftermath of the trial, Anna had allegedly distanced herself from people who didn’t share her belief in Josh’s innocence.
Despite that, sources say she’s beginning to accept the reality of her situation.
“She’s trying to move on,” another insider shared. “By the time Josh is released, more than a decade will have passed. Anna doesn’t want to get her hopes up. He’ll always be the father of her children, but she’s unsure if there’s truly a future for them as a couple.”
It’s also been said that while Anna still communicates with Josh, her primary focus now is her children—and her faith.
A Difficult Road Ahead
With Josh’s appeal still unfolding, it seems Anna may have to endure more waiting and media scrutiny before finding peace. After years of being in the public eye and navigating the fallout of her husband’s scandal, she’s clearly yearning for a fresh start.
While the outcome of Josh’s appeal remains uncertain, one thing is clear: Anna Duggar is a woman caught between loyalty, heartbreak, and the desire to rebuild her life.
