Back in March, it was revealed that Kendra and Joseph Duggar were facing legal troubles in Arkansas, with Joe being arrested on charges of allegedly molesting a minor. Since then, news has come out over a jail phone call in which Kendra spoke with her husband after his arrest. Interestingly, Kendra reportedly issued a warning to her spouse at the moment.

Joseph Duggar Was Arrested In Mid-March, With Kendra Later Arrested In Arkansas

Joseph is the seventh child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. He married Kendra Caldwell in 2017, and the two share four children together.

Back in mid-March, Joe was arrested and charged with behavior involving unlawful sexual activity with a minor, stemming from a 2020 incident involving a 9-year-old while in Florida. Following this, reports came out that his wife, Kendra, had also been arrested in Arkansas, with Joe facing further charges.

During The Phone Call, Joe & Kendra Discussed An Attorney & Another Mysterious Figure

For her part, Kendra was released hours after being booked after she paid a $1,470 bond. Joe was later extradited to Florida. He was released on Tuesday after posting a $600,000 bond. He will be back in Florida for court later this month, on April 20. In the interim, he will not be allowed to have any unsupervised contact with a minor or any with the victim.

Since the news has come to light, audio from a March 23 jail phone call was shared by TMZ, which the outlet also shared a recording on Instagram. During a tearful exchange, Kendra told her spouse, “I don’t know how to be there for you.” Joe told her, “That’s totally fine, honey. I’ll be fine. The kids need you.”

In one interesting exchange, Kendra told Joe not to trust anyone or speak to anyone beyond her attorney, Travis Story. As she shared, “I think this is the situation right now. Travis only.” She then claimed, “Because, I mean, I’ve heard about another call that you made.”

For his part, Joe claimed to have spoken to a figure named “Greg.” Kendra warned him, “Do not talk to Greg. Whatever you do. Do not.” She later shared, “Just don’t trust anyone. If there’s anything I’ve learned from this, do not trust anyone.” Joe appeared to agree with this and shared, “Protect your words for sure, I agree.”
