Joy-Anna Duggar STUNS Fans With Twin Baby Gender Reveal π₯ NEW!!
Joy-Anna Duggar: Jinger’s Book “Rocked My World,” Led to “Disentangling” From IBLP Beliefs and Embracing Pants!
Joy-Anna Duggar has revealed in a candid Q&A session that reading her sister Jinger Duggar’s book profoundly “rocked her world,” prompting a significant re-examination of the beliefs she was taught growing up in the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP).
During an Instagram AMA, Joy-Anna acknowledged that as a teenager, she had “questioned some of the beliefs” but explicitly stated that Jinger’s book “did rock my world.” She explained that conversations with Jinger before the book’s release brought many of her previously worked-through beliefs back to the surface, “which rattled her world.” Despite the shake-up, Joy-Anna expressed gratitude for the new perspectives.

Joy-Anna and her husband Austin Forsyth have confirmed they are no longer part of the IBLP, even though some of their family members remain. They are actively “disentangling” from certain practices, delving into the Bible to learn “what the truth says there” and raising their children in an environment different from Joy-Anna’s upbringing.
Among the specific practices she addressed was the wearing of pants. Joy-Anna admitted struggling with this decision, as she grew up knowing “nothing else” but wearing skirts. However, after praying with Austin, it took time before she believed it was “okay to wear pants,” as they ultimately decided pants “weren’t immodest.” This highlights how Jinger’s book appears to have encouraged other Duggar siblings to examine their own long-held beliefs.
Joy-Anna also shared that she attends church with some of her siblings, though she didn’t name them. She and Austin are known to be close to John David Duggar and Abbie Grace Burnett, suggesting they may attend services together.
