John-David Duggar’s Expecting Wife Hit With Hyperemesis Complication — Pregnancy Turns Into Survival Fight! 👶🔥
Abbie Duggar is sharing an update on her pregnancy.

The Counting On star—who is expecting her third baby with husband John-David Duggar—marked the midway point of her pregnancy and shared her hyperemesis diagnosis.
“A little over half way!” Abbie, 33, captioned photos of herself cradling her baby bump in a red maxi dress on the beach at sunset posted to Instagram Sept. 27. “We had a pretty rough go of it the first half and I am so thankful to be feeling much more like myself again! God is good! #pregnant #hyperemesis”
Hyperemesis gravidarum is “a severe form of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, typically beginning between 4 and 6 weeks of gestation” and affects 0.3% to about 3% of pregnancies, per the National Institute of Health. It’s a condition that other stars including Kate Middleton and Amy Schumer have suffered from during their pregnancies.
The couple—who got married in 2018 and share daughter Grace Duggar, 5, and son Charlie Duggar, 2—shared that they’re expecting their third baby together earlier this month.

“We’ve been keeping a little secret,” they wrote on Instagram Sept. 3. “Baby #3 arriving early 2026!!!”
Their announcement included photos of their family holding up 1, 2 and 3 balloons, as well as Abbie’s sonograms.
Jana, 35, accompanied her announcement with pictures of her kissing and cuddling up to Stephen as she cradled her burgeoning baby bump in a green maxi dress.
