The Season 8 finale of the hit TLC series 1000-Lb. Sisters airs Tuesday, March 10, at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT.
Reality TV star Amy Slaton tied the knot with Brian Lovvorn in a spooky yet romantic Halloween-themed ceremony in October 2025 in Bardstown, Kentucky. Now fans will finally see the unforgettable wedding unfold in the dramatic Season 8 finale of 1000-Lb. Sisters.
The highly anticipated episode, titled “Getting Mercinal Right Now,” shows the family gathering to watch Amy walk down the aisle. But an unexpected confrontation threatens to interrupt the celebration. Later, Amy and Brian’s first dance doesn’t go exactly as planned, and a surprising guest ends up catching the bouquet.
“I’m ready to walk down the aisle and nothing better go wrong,” Amy says in a teaser interview shared ahead of the episode. When footage shows her sister Tammy Slaton entering the bridal suite, Amy jokingly adds, “Oh my God… what the heck is going to happen next?”
Two days before the finale aired, Amy shared an emotional message with fans on Instagram.
“It’s been a long journey to get here,” she wrote. “You’ve all watched me through the ups and downs, the laughter, the tears, and motherhood with my boys. But standing there with Brian, surrounded by love and family… it truly felt like a dream come true.”
She added, “Thank you to every fan who has supported me through every chapter of my life. It means more than you know.”
The finale airs Tuesday, March 10 at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT on TLC and will be available to stream the following day on HBO Max and Discovery+.
