Bear Brown ofĀ Alaskan Bush PeopleĀ fame often turnsĀ to social media to share updates about his life. In a recent post, he talked about a special issue that he was concerned about. He also revealed that he learned of this issue through a prominent YouTuber.

Bear Brown and his family were introduced to audiences through the Discovery Channel series,Ā Alaskan Bush People. The show depicted the Brown family, led by Ami and the late Billy Brown, as they lived off the grid in the title state.
Bear, as with many of his siblings, have often continued to connect with fans on social media. Recently, Bear took to Instagram to share a video about issues heās seen in the world, all the while bringing up another prominent figure on social media.

As the video starts out, Bear starts out noting that this post might prove to be ācontroversial,āĀ adding he doesnāt really follow politics. However, he wanted to speak up after seeing photos.
Bear highlighted photos he had seen of āstarving childrenā online. Saying he was āappalledā by what he saw, he didnāt specify where these photos were from, but noted they were outside of the United States. Though unsure of the area, he later explained in the video, he saw children from whom food was being withheld and being left to starve.
Bear Quoted Both Scripture & A Roman Proverb During The Post
āChildren should never be used as [pawns] in war or anywhere else. Children should never be allowed to starve and should always be given everything that is necessary that a child should have. No kid is above another kid.ā
Bear reiterated that heās not entirely sure what was going on in the photos, but he was āfirmly 100% against it.ā He then quoted Matthew 7:15-20, saying, āYou will know them by their works.ā
As a call to the world, Bear added, āThe powers that be that can make things right need to stand up and do that.ā He then quoted a āRoman general,ā saying, āLet justice be done, even should the world perish.ā This was a translation of a Latin proverb, āFiat iustitia et pereat mundus.ā
Bear noted he agreed with this sentiment. As he explained, āIf doing justice dooms the world, then the world should be doomed. Justice should be done regardless of the consequence or outcome.ā
Bear Shared He Was Introduced To The Issue Through A Popular YouTuber
āIt is unacceptable for children to go without food and have food kept from them.ā He later said there was nothing to ājustifyā the starvation of children.
