Lydia Plath Reveals Her Family’s Distrubing Shower Habits
Lydia Plath was featured on the hit TLC series Welcome To Plathville along with her parents and 8 siblings. In addition to Lydia, the show follows Kim and Barry Plath, along with their nine children, Ethan, Hosanna, Micah, Moriah, Lydia, Isaac, Amber, Cassia, and Mercy. The family is a wild bunch with lots of quirky behaviors; however, Lydia’s latest revelation has shocked many fans.
“Eleven people in a house that was built for two and then added onto because my grandparents built the house, and then we added on a few times, but still we only had one shower. Two half baths but one shower. We had a pool. So summertime it worked out. I can’t tell you how many times we’d ask dad, who’d be like, ‘You guys need to shower,’ and we’d be like, ‘Well, can’t we just take the soap into the pool?’ like it’s not going to work like that. We wanted it so bad. We asked so many times like, ‘Can I just take the shampoo bottle to the pool and shower there?’”
Jeremy Vuolo wasn’t phased by Lydia’s confession. he commented, “Water’s water, I guess.” He even joked, “You’re giving Felicity ideas.” Felicity is Jeremy and Jinger’s 7-year-old daughter. Jeremy and Jinger Duggar also share daughter Evangeline, 4, and son Finn, 2 months. Welcome to Plathville premiered its seventh season on Tuesday, July 22. Lydia was joined by her husband Zac Wyse, on the podcast.
