DISGRACED DUGGAR IN PRISON HELL: Josh Forced to Live in “Filthy” Conditions, Reports of INMATES PEEING IN PAPER BAGS!
Josh Duggar’s life behind bars is proving to be a nightmare, with shocking reports detailing the “inhumane” and “absolutely filthy” conditions he and other inmates are allegedly enduring while he serves his 12.5-year sentence at FCI Seagoville in Texas.
The disgraced reality TV star, convicted in 2021 on child pornography charges, is now at the center of an exposé that has exposed the appalling state of the facility.
Feces, Mold, and Black Water Plague Duggar’s Prison
According to Heather Purle, founder of the nonprofit First Network—which advocates for incarcerated individuals—the conditions at FCI Seagoville are typical of the aging federal system, but reports from inmates are particularly disturbing.
Sources told The US Sun that prisoners complain of:
- Widespread mold and feces all over the place.
- Disintegrating walls and a generally “filthy” day-to-day living environment.
- Black water flowing from the taps in some areas.
- Lack of proper sanitation, with inmates “not permitted to employ chemicals,” meaning disinfection is rare.
The situation is worsened by the harsh Texas climate, with some cells lacking proper ventilation or windows, turning them into a “sauna in the summer and freezing in the winter.”

The Most Disturbing Revelation: Degrading Conditions Exposed
Perhaps the most shocking and dehumanizing claim reported by the First Network is that inmates are sometimes forced to perform basic bodily functions in paper bags.
Purle revealed there have been “instances where inmates were actually made to pee in paper bags.” Other accounts suggest that poor plumbing and sanitation force prisoners to defecate in bags as well, a practice described by experts as a gross violation of basic human dignity.
“This level of discomfort and humiliation speaks to the broader systemic issues,” the report notes, highlighting the psychological toll these conditions—including lack of privacy and fear of infection—are having on inmates like Duggar.
Focus Shifts to Prison Reform
While Duggar’s horrific crimes led to his imprisonment, the revelations about the conditions at FCI Seagoville have shifted the public focus to the urgent need for prison reform in the U.S.
The claims reinforce a disturbing pattern of neglect across the federal system, raising questions about whether the conditions are compounding the mental health crisis among the incarcerated. Reform advocates argue that the prison system, regardless of the crimes committed by inmates, must adhere to basic standards of humanity, decency, and rehabilitation.
