Anna Johnston Breaks Her Silence — The Truth Behind the Family Fallout
What really made you guys not talk? Who the family? Oh, uh, once I said for the new season, once I said no to filming, um, they completely stopped talking to me, which I knew that was going to happen. They communicated with me for the show. And then once they had to stop putting an act on, acting like they’re good parents, they stopped communicating with me.
Anna Johnston is spilling more tea about all the behind the scenes in her family. And this is just so heartbreaking. For those of you who actually watched the show Seven Little Johnston’s, then you already know how Anna was treated by her parents for years because of her just being different.
Even in the most recent season, all the downfall was shown on air and it looks like the family is just fed up with Anna. Although Anna did admit that it wasn’t just one particular thing that made her set some boundaries in the family, Amber, her mom, says that Anna is just longing for attention and jealous of Elizabeth’s baby.
But a lot of us saw how much it bothered Amber that she can no longer control Anna like she does the rest of her adult children. Yes, adult children. But a few days ago, Anna went live on her lunch break in her car and she answered some fan questions. One of the questions being, “How often do you talk to your parents?” Anna answers by saying she doesn’t talk to anyone in her immediate family, which is so bizarre to me
The Hidden Drama Behind the Cameras
She says that when she decided to no longer film, they cut her off cold turkey. She says there is a lot as fans that we don’t know that she wish she could tell us, which is not a surprise to me. I know there’s a lot that goes on. We don’t see everything on screen. I do see however how Amber manipulates, how she goes to social media, makes everybody think that everything is all good and she pretends she makes these post of all the things making us feel like everything’s great.
Anna said that once she said that she was going to not film anymore, they completely stopped communicating with her. She says that they are putting on nothing but an act. Anna even said that the scene where Amber goes to therapy, that was all set up by production. So, she is actually not working on herself or to make things right. It is fake.
She even says the only way the relationship will get better is if the show stops. So, basically, it’s like Amber is choosing this show over having a relationship with her daughter. She states that Amber has even made Emma turn on her. She claims that she thought things were good between she and Emma, but that recently changed after Amber noticed that Emma was spending a lot of time with Anna, her sister, her own sister.
Anna isn’t an angel by a long shot. But it doesn’t change the way that she was belittled, gas lit, alienated, and all of those things on the seasons. Imagine what we didn’t see. Amber has full control over Emma. Emma just posted some pics of the bridal shower with Elizabeth. And I feel like Anna is better off without them because to me, Liz is just like her mom.
And no, that is no compliment. But Anna will not be going to the wedding as of right now. The wedding is in November. If they don’t make up or make amends between now and November, I don’t think that there will be any type of relationship with them. I feel like Anna is okay with that, but she’s secretly battling that.
