‘Alaskan Bush People’ Bird Brown cuts ties with brother Mattš. He’s not welcome here, she says
āAlaskan Bush Peopleā Bird Brown Completely Cuts Off Brother

The Alaskan Bush PeopleĀ family has been going through some tough times lately. Over the last few months, Noah Brown filed a restraining order against sister Rain and then ended upĀ separated from his wife. However, these family feuds are nothing new, as Bird Browen revealed in a recentĀ TikTokĀ live that she took part in.
Here is what Bird had to say about one of her brothers, who she has cut out of her life.
Bird Brown No Longer Talking To One Brother
Bird Brown was chatting in aĀ TikTokĀ live video, and some fans asked in the comments about her brother Matt Brown. For fans who follow the family, Matt has beenĀ estranged from themĀ since he went to rehab to deal with addiction issues. He has been sober for a while now and seems to be moving on, but his family has remained shut out of his life.

The OP said this surprised them because the Brown family seems to be a ātight knit, stick togetherā family. However, this Redditor said they are only on the second season and working their way through. This led to several commenters filling the Redditor in on the situation:
- āThis new audience of people are in for a wild ride.ā
- āBird doesnāt speak to matt because of the allegations that youāll learn about later on in the show.ā
- āAs I know and read Matt called out Billy and the show for being fake.ā
What Happened With Matt Brown & Bird Brown?
However, there is more to the story than just Matt Brownās addiction issues. It appears thatĀ something might have happenedĀ with a friend of Bird and Rainās.

āWe agreed the local authorities should be contacted immediately. Due to the nature of the accusations, we felt that all cooperation would be most appropriately handled by law enforcement,ā the Discovery Channel said in a statement in 2020.
Jessica Jurges, 35, a personal assistant to the Brown family, said Matt sexually assaulted her in a swimming pool. Shelly Dawn, Mattās manager at the time, reportedly saved Jessica. Shelly then said he sexually assaulted her just days later. In 2021,Ā Nosey HeauxĀ interviewed Jessica, who described the entire incident.
