90 Day Fiance stars Matilda and Niles are ready for the knocking ceremony in the latest season. In a new clip, the latter met a community elder, Mr. Arks. He requested him to represent him at the ceremony because his family wasn’t in Ghana. However, Mr. Arks was shocked that he was doing the knocking ceremony months before the wedding.
He explained that it wasn’t their culture and that the TLC star couldn’t delay the marriage for so many months after the ceremony. Niles talked to the elder privately and discovered that he really didn’t have to invite 90 people to the ceremony. Mr. Arks told him that they could have a simple marriage as well. Matilda started sweating when Niles confronted her in front of their elders.
She said, “He is disgracing me before the man, and the man will think I was the one who wants a luxurious wedding.” Moreover, the older man suggested a simple marriage on the same day as the knocking ceremony. Niles and Matilda took time to discuss everything before making a decision. The latter then accused her partner of embarrassing her in front of the elders.
As per the recent episode, Niles wasn’t ready to listen to her anymore and asked why she lied to him that they had to invite 90 people. Matilda turned the tables and stated that she wanted to make him happy with the big ceremony. Further, she blamed him for disgracing her with his actions.
