Jinger Duggar Just Welcomed Baby #3 | Beautiful Birth Story & Postpartum Depression!

Once a familiar face on reality television, Jinger Dugarolo has steadily carved out a quieter but impactful presence outside the spotlight of the Duggar dynasty.
While her family retreated from public life following the Josh Duggar scandal, Jinger has taken a different path.
Building a brand rooted in honesty, family, and faith. Through her podcast, books, and social media, she’s connected deeply with her fans, sharing her journey of self-discovery, motherhood, and personal growth. Well, in September 2024, Jinger shared exciting news with her fans. She and her husband Jeremy Vololo were expecting their third child.
Now the moment everyone had been waiting for has finally arrived. The couple joyfully announced the birth of their son Finnegan Charles Vololo. Already parents to daughters Felicity and Evangelene, Jinger and Jeremy decided to keep their third pregnancy a surprise even from their children. Knowing all too well that little ones aren’t the best secret keepers. After a charming gender reveal, the family learned they were expecting their first boy. A milestone celebrated with excitement by fans and loved ones alike. Born in March 2025, baby Finnegan weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs and measured 21 in long. “We are beyond grateful for his safe and healthy arrival,” Jinger shared, radiating joy and gratitude. While the girls, now big sisters, handled the transition with surprising maturity. “I was nervous about how they’d react,” Jinger admitted. But they’ve just showered their little brother with kisses and hugs. The Vo’s affectionately call him Finn, a nickname already embraced by his older siblings. Apparently, the name Finnegan was Jeremy’s suggestion, and it resonated with Jinger immediately. It just sounded strong and unique, she said. I loved it the moment he said it. The middle name Charles is a touching tribute to Jeremy’s family.
Both his father and brother carry the name, continuing a cherished family tradition. Unlike her previous pregnancies, Jinger described her third as awesome, a welcome surprise. Being pregnant outside the summer heat made everything easier. She explained throughout her journey, she kept fans updated on doctor visits and progress, sharing that most appointments went smoothly. However, past experiences shaped her decisions this time.
Jinger openly discussed the traumatic reaction she had to postpartum medications following Felicity’s birth, which left her feeling intensely nauseous. This time around, she opted out of certain medications to prioritize her well-being. Jinger also reflected on the emotional struggles that followed Evangeline’s birth. “I battled postpartum depression, and it wasn’t something I was prepared for,” she said.
Nursing for 14 months took a toll and she recalled a turning point. When I finally stopped, it felt like I came out of a dark cloud. Determined not to relive that experience, she’s approached nursing Finnegan with flexibility. If I need to pump instead, that’s okay. My mental health has to come first for me and my family.
Meanwhile, as the due date approached, Jinger received a heartwarming visit from her mother, Michelle Duggar, and sister Joanna, who flew to Los Angeles to lend a helping hand. Michelle, known for her deep devotion to her children and grandchildren, continued her cherished tradition of being present for the birth of her grandkids, arriving with baby clothes and an abundance of love. For now, Michelle remains in California, supporting her daughter’s recovery.
Jinger shared a glowing photo of her mother on Instagram, noting, “We couldn’t do it without her.” Fans couldn’t help but marvel at Michelle’s radiant appearance, with many commenting that she looked as if she were aging in reverse. Moreover, Jeremy’s parents also joined in the celebration, making the joyous occasion a true family affair. Jinger confirmed she was induced at 40 weeks, and to her delight, she described the experience as the best birth I’ve ever had. While Jinger and Jeremy were once content with having two children, their hearts eventually opened to the possibility of a larger family. Though they’ve now welcomed their third child, it’s uncertain whether baby Finnegan is the last addition to the Vololo crew. Still, the couple is embracing this season of life with open hearts. For now, Jinger is soaking in the early days of newborn life, filled with snuggles, sleepless nights, and the sweet chaos that comes with raising three young children.
It’s a little scary, but mostly it’s exciting. She shared, “We’re ready to walk into this new chapter together, one step at a time.
