Jason continues to document his physical journey. Before meeting Maddie, the Counting On alum had already been uploading clips and pictures at the gym, showing off his muscles. Earlier this month, Jason revealed that he just finished the first half of his marathon. He also thanked Maddie for being such a supportive wife. The two have also been traveling over the past few weeks. Recently, Jason celebrated his 25th birthday. Maddie made a special post for him online featuring photos from some of their trips, including swamps and beaches.

Jason and Maddie recently uploaded a new vlog where they answered several questions from fans. One of them was about their current status with the IBLP. According to Jason, Maddie was unfamiliar with the IBLP’s lifestyle. She did watch a few episodes of the Duggar family back then, but she assures everyone that she wasn’t a “fan girl.”

Jason then mentioned that he respects his parents and that they’re good people, but he followed his own rules while dating Maddie. The Counting On alum also expressed that they’re now following more mainstream Christian beliefs due to the activities they’ve done together, even before they tied the knot. Jason is one of the few family members who have stepped away from the IBLP’s teachings. But he’s still in touch with his family, especially with his parents.

Jason Duggar also shared some rule-breaking moments with him and Maddie during their courtship. According to the Counting On alum, he and Maddie did kiss while they were still dating, which is strictly against the Duggar family’s courtship rules. The two also confirmed that they enjoy “wholesome” dancing, and they both believe it wasn’t a big deal. Many fans also showed support for the couple.
