“An unexpected announcement from Jessa Duggar Seewald’s family sends fans into a frenzy.”

Jessa Duggar Seewald is pregnant with her 6th child.

The 19 Kids and Counting star and her husband, Ben Seewald, are set to welcome another child sometime over the summer.

“Halfway to holding you in our arms,” Duggar Seewald captioned an Instagram post on Friday, March 7. She included a picture of a recent sonogram.

Many fans took to the comments section of the post with congratulatory messages straight away. Quite a few people were surprised that the Seewalds are growing their family once again.

“Thats surprising, I thought your last boy was going to be your last but congrats anyway,” one person wrote.

“I didn’t even know you were expecting! Congratulations! I knew Jinger was pregnant,” someone else added.

“Oh my gosh, I didn’t even know you were pregnant again,” a third fan said.

“Another baby I didn’t even know,” a fourth comment read.

Duggar Seewald and her husband are already parents to Spurgeon, 9, Henry, 8, Ivy, 5, Fern, 3, and George, 14 months.

In February 2021, Duggar Seewald shared that she’d lost a baby the year prior.

“After the heartbreaking loss of a baby last year, we’re overjoyed to share that another little Seewald is on the way! The pregnancy is going smoothly, and both baby and Jessa are doing well. We are so grateful to God for the precious gift of a new life! The kids are delighted, and we can hardly wait to welcome this little one into our arms this summer,” the Seewalds told Entertainment Tonight in a statement.

In 2022, Duggar Seewald announced that she had suffered a miscarriage.

“As soon as she started taking a look at the baby, I could tell there was some concern in her voice,” she recalled of the ultrasound technician. “She said, ‘The sack looks good. The baby does not.'”

“Nothing could have prepared me for the weight of those words in that moment. At that moment I was just in complete shock. I didn’t have words. I just immediately started crying,” she added.
