Josh Duggar KICKED OUT of Seagoville For Severe Misconduct: Sent To A Maximum Security Prison!

Josh Duggar Transferred to Higher-Security Facility Following Severe Prison Misconduct

TEXAS — Convicted felon and former reality TV star Josh Duggar has reportedly been kicked out of FCI Seagoville, a low-security federal prison, following a string of severe disciplinary infractions. According to internal sources, Duggar’s persistent rule-breaking and manipulative behavior made him an extreme security liability, prompting an immediate transfer to FMC Fort Worth—an administrative facility equipped to handle maximum-security inmates and severe behavioral containment.

A History of Contraband and Concealment

Duggar, who is serving a more than 12-year sentence for receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), has allegedly had his release date pushed back four times, now sitting at February 2034. This extension is a direct result of losing “good time” credits due to near-constant disciplinary violations.

Sources close to the facility reveal that Duggar was caught with smuggled cell phones on four or five separate occasions. During a recent cell shakedown, guards discovered a mobile device hidden inside a hollowed-out Bible. Under his sentencing terms, Duggar is strictly prohibited from accessing cell phones, computers, or the internet.

The frequency of the contraband has raised alarm bells regarding a potential smuggling pipeline. Given Duggar’s extensive familial and ministry ties in the Texas and Arkansas areas, authorities suspect outside contacts may have been posing as prison ministry affiliates to bypass security.

Manipulative Behavior and Solitary Confinement

For the past year, Duggar has spent a significant amount of time in the Special Housing Unit (SHU), commonly known as solitary confinement. His behavior became so disruptive that he could not even be housed with a cellmate.

Reports indicate that Duggar frequently weaponized his religious background to manipulate staff and inmates, a tactic described by prison personnel as a “con.” His infractions grew so severe that the prison stripped him of almost all privileges, including:

  • Total Loss of Privileges: Denied access to the commissary, phone calls, and video chats.

  • Property Restriction: At one point, guards removed his mattress during daytime hours, allowing it only at night.

  • Zero Visitation: His wife, Anna Duggar, has been banned from visiting him for an extended period.

Furthermore, Duggar’s recent testimony in open court during a failed motion to vacate his sentence caused a massive security scandal for FCI Seagoville. Duggar admitted to using another inmate’s stamps and claimed he convinced a staff member to violate prison policy to help him copy and mail documents. This public admission painted a major target on the low-security facility’s administrative integrity.

Family Supervision Ruled Out

The fallout of Duggar’s ongoing misconduct extends heavily to his life post-release. While his initial sentencing allowed his wife or parents to supervise him around his children, federal insights suggest that boundary is gone.

Prisons and courts have reportedly determined that Anna Duggar and the Duggar parents are entirely unwilling to hold boundaries, noting that Anna would “do just about anything” Josh asks of her, making her an unsafe supervisor. Upon his eventual release, Duggar will require strict, court-appointed legal supervisors to be anywhere near minors.

Why FMC Fort Worth?

Low-security facilities like FCI Seagoville operate largely on an open-dorm system, relying on inmate cooperation. Because Duggar proved entirely unwilling to reform or follow basic rules, he was upgraded to FMC Fort Worth.

While FMC Fort Worth functions primarily as a Federal Medical Center, its administrative classification allows it to house inmates of all security levels, up to maximum security.
