90 Day Fiancé Alum Leida Margaretha in Court After Child’s Death Ruled Non-Accidental
11, 2026
Leida Margaretha, a former contestant on TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé, appeared in a Wisconsin court this week just days after authorities officially ruled the death of her infant daughter as “not accidental.”
The Current Legal Charges
According to Juneau County court records, a hearing was held on Wednesday, March 11, regarding 24 felony counts Margaretha is currently facing. These charges include:
-
Wire fraud
-
Forgery
-
Theft
The court issued a no-contact order, prohibiting Margaretha from communicating with employees or entering the premises of the business involved in the case. She was released on a $1,000 signature bond, with her next court date scheduled for June 17, 2026.
Margaretha’s attorney, Taylor Hart, maintains that these charges are “re-filed allegations” stemming from alleged conduct in 2023 and 2024, which were previously dismissed. Hart stated that Margaretha “continues to deny all allegations of wrongdoing.”
Investigation into Infant’s Death
The court appearance follows a high-profile investigation by the Adams County Department of Health and Human Services. An initial assessment concluded that the death of Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook—the daughter of Margaretha and husband Eric Rosenbrook—was non-accidental.
Reports indicate that the review found “sufficient evidence to substantiate physical abuse of an infant by the mother.”
Response from Margaretha and Rosenbrook
Both Margaretha and Eric Rosenbrook, who first appeared on Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé in 2018, have vehemently denied any foul play. The couple has reportedly hired private forensic experts to challenge the official autopsy results.
-
Eric Rosenbrook told media outlets he believes the original autopsy was performed improperly.
-
Margaretha’s Attorney stated: “Leida would never harm her child, and she remains adamant in her denial of any wrongdoing.”
The infant passed away in July 2025 after five days on life support. While the couple has faced years of public scrutiny since their reality TV debut, they now face their most serious legal and personal challenges to date as the criminal and dependency cases move forward.
