John-David and Abbie Duggar Celebrate the Arrival of Baby Number Three!
The Duggar family has grown once again! John-David Duggar, 36, and his wife Abbie, 33, are officially a family of five. The Counting On stars shared their joy with the world on Saturday, February 28, via Instagram, introducing their sweet new addition.
“John and Abbie – party of 5! 🤍 Our sweet baby girl was born last month,” the couple captioned a series of heart-melting family photos. “We are totally head over heels and soaking up all the newborn snuggles!”
A Season of Double Joy
The new arrival has already received plenty of love from the extended Duggar clan. John-David’s twin sister, Jana Duggar, shared her excitement on Instagram Stories, welcoming her new niece just months after becoming a mother herself. (Jana gave birth to her son, Archie, in December 2025).
The Journey to Three
Married since November 2018, John-David and Abbie are already proud parents to daughter Grace (born January 2020) and son Charlie (born September 2022). The couple first teased their third pregnancy in September 2025 with a playful post: “We’ve been keeping a little secret… 🤭🤗 Baby #3 coming early 2026!!!”
Overcoming Challenges
The journey wasn’t without its hurdles. Abbie opened up during her pregnancy about battling Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness. Despite the difficult start, she shared her gratitude for her recovery and the strength she found in her faith as she reached the halfway mark.
A Special Gender Reveal
In a heartwarming “twin tradition” moment, John-David and Abbie held a joint gender reveal in October 2025 with Jana and her husband, Stephen Wissmann. While Jana discovered she was expecting a boy, John-David and Abbie learned their third child would be a girl.
As they celebrate over seven years of marriage, the couple continues to share their gratitude for their growing family, describing their bond as a blessing from God. Congratulations to the happy family of five!
