Kim Raises Red Flags About Lydia & Zach’s Wedding!

When I found out Lydia and Zach were going to get married, I had hesitations because I just felt like it was too quick. Some red flags and then I started to see more red flags all than I was when they first got engaged. Just cuz I’ I’ve had more time to see more red flags. If we all loved Zach and and knew him, if we all knew him and loved him, it would be a different story cuz And to be fair, it’s a fair point.

You know, end of the day when you get to know someone, then obviously you grow to obviously love them, to like them, to appreciate them, to understand them, you know what I mean?

To be more open to their, you know, to why they want to marry your child. You see what I’m saying? But uh when somebody isn’t giving you that different conversation, but hey ho, let’s uh let’s continue.
Imagine my time. The things I’ve seen in Zach helping out with chores, stuff like that does not happen. I’ve seen um a usurping of Lydia’s desires where Lydia wants shoots it down because he has another plan in mind.

Zach said, “Oh, no, it has to be blue because I have a blue suit.” It’s quite interesting because obviously to learn that, you know, he likes uh initiative is is is very disappointing, you know, given that this is true.
Um, you know, and also the fact that he seems to be controlling or to not want to hear uh what a leader wants is also very concerning given that this information is true, you know, because that means obviously, you know, um on the outside he’s displayed himself as one way, but you know, behind closed doors or whatever, he’s actually a whole different character.

So, yeah, that that’s not that’s not a good thing to hear about somebody. Do you see what I’m saying? So, I do understand why obviously um Kim is now having those concerns and seeing more flags that I wore to another wedding and I really pop in that blue suit. It’s a good thing. My wedding colors are different shades of blues.
Um blue has always been both our favorite colors. I Yeah. Yeah. Blue is just I mean Lydia even looks awkward talking about the color blue to be honest. She’s like, “Yeah, the color I wanted was green, but you know, we’re going blue because you know that’s what you wanted.” Yeah. Mhm. I’m just accepting it.

To be fair, her body language does display and back up what Kim’s saying to a certain degree. I feel like Barry, especially since the divorce, he wants everybody to like him. He wants to be the fun approving dad. He doesn’t want to be the mean dad that’s asking hard questions. which therefore makes him a poor father, you know, because I mean, we do live in a world where when parents separate, there’s always one that wants to be the good guy, another one that wants to be the bad guy.

Barry’s Approval, Veronica’s Drama & The Awkward Wedding

And it’s always usually the the the dad that steps in that role of being the good guy these days. And mom’s the one that’s the villain, which is so sad. Whereas, listen, just because you co-parent from afar now doesn’t mean you both shouldn’t still have the same, you know, disciplines in place for your children.
But yeah, that’s a whole other conversation. And I’m pretty sure anybody that’s a single parent, like a co-parent, you know, exactly what what I’m talking about here. I feel like they’re rushing into it cuz they want to go to Germany together. And as Ethan likes to put it, it’s cuz they want to cuz they’re trying to hold it all together for

Lydia. The therapist told me to go. She told me if I didn’t go and resolve things with the family in due time that I would regret missing it. I mean, she did. Veronica did attend. Yeah. And let’s just say it is better off that she didn’t attend. Check with me, not leave my side, support me, and if somebody offends me or says something rude to say we are walking away.

I mean, listen, the fact that she uh decided to go to this whole thing um to to the wedding expecting Micah to be there to babysit her is crazy work. You’re a grown ass woman and you want to be babysat. That’s hilarious. So, like, you know what? I think I’m actually going to go. She was literally saying she’s she’s going to be so well behaved and good that she’s going to make everyone else look bad.

And I was like, great. She knew Tegan was going to be there, and I don’t know if she doesn’t trust me with my brother’s girlfriend. When she doesn’t have a control on a situation, her brain goes to the wildest corners. It is interesting. Obviously, her point of view of why she’s be there, why she’s there is completely different to what he assumes of why they’re there, of why Veronica decided to turn up.

Cuz originally, Veronica wasn’t even going to come to the wedding. She said, “No, I’m not coming, you know, blah blah blah blah.” But then all of a sudden she changed her mind like literally on the day which obviously shocks a lot of people and uh definitely upset Ethan and Isaok you know what I mean.
Um but hey at the end of the day Veronica is there and she’s not interacting anybody. She definitely hasn’t approached Tegan to say to apologize or anything like that which is uh which is which is appalling because you know you made up an accusation about somebody you know an accusation that was never online. It’s just that’s just nasty work.

Messy Rooms, Messier Feelings & Fans Divided

Absolutely nasty work. And now you’re saying and now obviously he’s paranoid that she thinks now he’s paranoid because he thinks that maybe she’s only come here to watch me with my brother’s girlfriend. Like the whole thing is a freaking mess. Zach moved into my house with me and my dad a few weeks ago and I was kind of hoping I would get to see how he is around the house.

Cleans up after himself, but never helped cook, never helped clean. Seems like the fact that Isaac also has nothing good to say about Zach is not good news at all. Like it’s actually quite sad to see to hear and see to hear this information about him. You know, I thought he was a guy that that, you know, who was willing to pull his weight and really show the family that he’s the right person for for their sister uh/daughter.

But you at least contribute a little bit. But he would just sit up in his room all all day that eat when somebody made something and it was ready and then he would just go lay down on the couch on his phone and not offer to help clean up. And also on top of that, his room is uh completely messed as well.
something else Isaac did mention there that that is quite crazy because obviously Isaac’s obviously saying to me and my dad Barry is the one that’s that’s approved the wedding.

You would think that Barry would pay attention pay attention to these things and then be like, “You know what? I don’t know if I agree now with you bearing my daughter because, you know, you can’t even uh uh look after yourself here. Your room’s a mess.
You don’t offer to cook. You don’t offer to clean. You don’t offer nothing. You just, you know, just sit down and just, you know, go about your day like Yeah. So, to be honest, that’s also quite surprising, too. No. Yeah, it’s just quite surprising, but obviously given that it is true, then Barry should really be stepping up and saying something to him, but clearly he’s not.

Veronica being here now last minute and everything kind of just, you know, makes me even more uncomfortable. He does who he sees, even if it’s his family, which that’s the way Olivia was. That pissed me off really. It’s so like Yeah. Yeah. Veronica, she’s definitely pissed off a lot of people. religious and holy, but God told her to marry Zach, but God did not tell her to listen to the advice of everyone else in her life.
Obviously, he’s upset by the fact that, you know, Lydia is going ahead with this wedding, you know, given the fact that, you know, it’s happening so so quickly and she’s not listening to anybody else. To be fair though, based on what based on Kim’s review of him saying that he’s a bit controlling and whatnot, I do wonder though.
I do wonder if Ly is actually now marry him because she generally does love this kid or if she married him because of the fact that he’s got some sort of hold in her. You know what I mean? I have I have those concerns to be fair now. Well, what are your thoughts? It’s taking me everything everything in me to do this wedding. I just can’t.

Veronica on top, she shows up. She doesn’t say anything to me. Tegan, the only people I seen her go and talk to are the little girls. I remember that was kind of what Olivia did. Olivia did. So obviously, you know, they mention here that obvious Olivia when she started isolating herself, she would also talk to the girls to basically, you know, bring them on her side to manipulate them and all that kind of stuff.
So they’re saying that, you know, seems to be doing the same tactic. Whether whether that’s true or not, who knows? I mean, it looks like it’s true based on the fact that we saw it, you know, speaking to them, but we don’t know if that’s necessarily the the angle that, you know, Veronica is going with. Um, but it’s just so miserable watching Rona still be here.

To be honest, really is miserable. I’m watching her the same thing Lydia did. The best thing we can do for Lydia right now is just be calm and play it cool. Hi, Veronica. Glad you can make it. Thanks. Thank you. Glad you can make it. Okay. Mariah’s want to save face. It’s superficial and surface level. I mean, listen, end of the day, whether Mariah uh means the greeting or not, at least she’s at least she’s being polite.
Take the politeness rather than you walk standing around like a lost child and just being awkward with everybody. At least she’s just like, you know what, let me just say hi. I mean, first and foremost, Mariah made an ef obviously by writing writing her a letter, which of course she didn’t like, which is whatever.

But then now, obviously, you know, they’ve seen each other in person now again for the second time because they saw each other obviously the proposal. Now it’s obviously here at the wedding day and uh you know Mariah’s at least had a decent say hey you know what I mean she’s not asking to be her best friend you know what I mean she’s just saying hey that’s it like it’s just just being polite but nah she’s got to slam down the politeness as well honestly uh is she’s miserable to watch honestly I find it so depressed I’m happy that
they’re finally done now you know what

I mean in real time and we won’t be seeing her back for another season at least I hope not seeing her back because yeah it’s just uncomfortable absolutely uncomfortable But maybe you folks feel completely different to how I feel. But with that being said though, do you agree with Kim that you know obviously uh you know there are red flags obviously now appearing but main most importantly do you agree with the fact that she believes that Barry only agreed to the wedding just to get brownie points from
his daughter. Let me know let me know your thoughts on that one. I’m pretty sure anyone that’s a single parent will I’m pretty sure I know what your answers already unless this is a different one to what I’m to what I said you know and um you know at the same time do you believe that Veronica’s behaving in a way that is acceptable or do you think that she’s being petty and need just move on with her life which we know we which you know which we know she did but do we feel like she overstayed her stay you know when she could have just left a
long time ago and saved herself all this headache so give me your thoughts on that one as well please that would be absolutely wonderful and anything else of course that happened in this episode itself in particular
