During an Instagram Q&A session on Tuesday, Lydia revealed that she hasn’t watched the episode featuring her wedding due to how the show was edited to focus more on the antics of Lydia’s siblings and their significant others.
Lydia stated that she doesn’t want the good memories she has from that day tainted.
“Did you end up watching the wedding episode?” a fan asked.
“No, I didn’t,” Lydia replied.
“I have my memories of my experience on my wedding day and I don’t need to watch an edited, dramatized version of other people’s perspective of my beautiful wedding day.”
She added that she and Zach have “the best wedding video in the world” to relive their special day.
As fans saw, the two episodes were filled with drama between Lydia’s brothers Micah, Ethan, and their partners — overshadowing Lydia and Zach’s peaceful ceremony.
The Family Drama and Fans’ Reaction
This is not the first time Lydia has refused to watch an episode of her family’s show. Back in August, Lydia revealed that Zach warned her against watching the proposal episode because of how badly her brothers behaved.
“Zach told me not to watch it, and that’s all I needed to hear,” she said.
