Bird Brown was chatting in a TikTok live video, and some fans asked in the comments about her brother Matt Brown. For fans who follow the family, Matt has been estranged from them since he went to rehab to deal with addiction issues. He has been sober for a while now and seems to be moving on, but his family has remained shut out of his life.

In the TikTok live session, Bird responded to fans asking about Matt and his relationship with his family. She answered that she does not associate herself or talk to Matt in any way. She admitted she was the wrong person to ask about him because she had shut him out of her life (via Reddit).

What Happened With Matt Brown & Bird Brown?

However, there is more to the story than just Matt Brown’s addiction issues. It appears that something might have happened with a friend of Bird and Rain’s.

When Matt Brown went to rehab and Discovery Channel fired him from Alaskan Busn People, there were also sexual assault allegations made against him. According to reports, two women accused Matt of sexual assault (via PEOPLE). However, nothing was done after this, and it remained questionable until a 2020 interview.

“We agreed the local authorities should be contacted immediately. Due to the nature of the accusations, we felt that all cooperation would be most appropriately handled by law enforcement,” the Discovery Channel said in a statement in 2020.

Jessica Jurges, 35, a personal assistant to the Brown family, said Matt sexually assaulted her in a swimming pool. Shelly Dawn, Matt’s manager at the time, reportedly saved Jessica. Shelly then said he sexually assaulted her just days later. In 2021, Nosey Heaux interviewed Jessica, who described the entire incident.
