Joshua “Bam Bam” Brown Hospitalized After Fatal Car Crash; One Woman Dead
Joshua “Bam Bam” Brown, 37, a star of Discovery Channel’s Alaskan Bush People, was involved in a fatal head-on car collision on Friday, May 20th, which resulted in the death of a 24-year-old woman. The Sun exclusively revealed the news, with Washington State Trooper Jeremy Weber confirming that Joshua was not at fault for the tragic incident.
The accident occurred when Joshua was driving his GMC northbound on the SR-97 freeway. A black Chevrolet Camaro, traveling southbound and driven by Gabriella Garcia Harrison, reportedly lost control, crossed the center line, and collided head-on with Brown’s vehicle. The 24-year-old female passenger in the Camaro tragically died, while Gabriella Garcia Harrison was airlifted to Central Washington Hospital. Her current condition is unknown, and it is also unclear if drugs or alcohol were a factor in her losing control.
Joshua “Bam Bam” Brown, the second oldest of the Brown siblings, originally left Alaskan Bush People in 2017 for a romance with Allison Kagan, a former field producer for the show. He returned to the family’s Washington State Ranch in 2019.
The news of this accident comes after the tragic death of the Brown family patriarch, Billy Brown, who suffered a fatal seizure in February 2021 at the family’s $1.6 million property on Palmer Mountain. Footage showed family members desperately trying to revive him, but CPR was unsuccessful. Joshua had recently shared an Instagram message of gratitude to fans, reflecting on his parents’ teachings about shining light in a dark world and valuing “Family, Faith, and Freedom.”
Separately, Joshua’s brother, Bear Brown, 34, was accused of causing a car crash in March (unrelated to this incident) after allegedly running a stop sign and colliding with an SUV, resulting in injuries to himself and the other driver.
The community is now grappling with the shock of Bam Bam’s involvement in this fatal collision, even as authorities confirm he bears no fault.
