1000-lb. Sisters fans have fallen in love with Tammy Slaton and her journey. Although there have been some hiccups, Tammy eventually dropped enough weight to undergo weight loss surgery. Along with that, she kept going on her journey, and it was clear that she was feeling herself. Viewers noted that she was much lighter, physically and spiritually, and had a calmer demeanor. Tammy was just a lot more fun, and that was further enhanced by her falling in love with Andrea Dalton. Plus, she was able to get skin removal, so her transformation was nearly complete.

Now, Tammy is very excited to share that she will be a part of the Inaugural Bluegrass Food Truck Festival in Madisonville, Kentucky. It will be held on October 25th, 2025, and boasts twelve food trucks. There will also be live entertainment and a car show, as well as a meet and greet with Tammy herself. Tammy shared that it is free to the public to enter the event, and it will be kid-friendly, with a petting zoo. Finally, all of the proceeds earned from this truck festival will go to Webster County Animal Control and St. Jude Hospital.

The 1000-lb. Sisters star is not charging a crazy amount to meet her fans, which is extremely sweet. She is keeping everything balanced and affordable. A selfie is $25, and to add on a signed photo is just $50, which is great considering what some people charge for events like this. She seems very excited to promote this, especially since the proceeds are helping two causes. As of now, it is not featured on her social media, but she will likely add it sooner rather than later.
