90 Day Fiancé Causes a Shock: Just Two Wrong Moves, the Whole Show Turns into Dirty Drama!
After every season, we discover the secrets the cast were hiding behind the scenes. The host, Shaun Robinson, gets to ask any and all questions — even the ones she probably shouldn’t — and the cast goes head-to-head to squash any beef from the season. Over the years, the 90 Day Fiancé Tell All has changed its setup and presentation numerous times, as the production crew tries to make the dynamic more interesting. One quality they often include in the reunions is past 90 Day Fiancé stars. Generally, these stars have advice and maybe a few opinions to share, and they act as a good buffer for the show’s current cast. However, this year, I think the alumni stars were just as part of the problem as the main cast.
Daniele Gates and Big Ed Were the Wrong Alums To Invite to the ’90 Day Fiancé’ Tell All

TLC has let us down once again with their casting…
It’s unclear what Daniele’s role was to begin with, especially since she didn’t offer advice on how the couples could repair their relationships like she did. She said the relationship between Juan David Daza and Jessica Parsons reminded her a lot of hers with Yohan, and if that’s any indication of where their relationship is headed, then I’m not sure if they would want to continue on the path they’re on. Furthermore, Shaun also invited mama’s boy Big Ed Brown to give Greg Chillak and Joan Kruchov advice about living at home, and Ed told Joan to give them a “time limit” to get into a home of their own. Meanwhile, Big Ed hasn’t had a successful relationship during his entire time in the franchise, and he never established the boundaries he needs with his own mother.
The Franchise Alums on the ’90 Day Fiancé’ Reunion Stole the Spotlight — and Not for the Better
Big Ed similarly has a way of redirecting the focus on him and, since he and Daniele weren’t in the season or haven’t been in any recent seasons, they probably weren’t the best picks to have on the Tell All. Couples with more experience who have had a better time overcoming hurdles, like Loren and Alexei Brovarnick, Annie Suwan and David Toborowsky, or even David Dangerfield and Sheila Mangubat, would have been able to give these couples better advice without adding to the drama or taking away from the main points of the season. Overall, while having alums join the Tell All can generally help the stars, I think this time around it did much more harm than good.
