During her recent appearance on the Creative Chaos podcast with Hunter Ezell, she stated that she silently suffered as much as he did. While she seemed happy with her successful weight loss through skin removal, she is also thankful for the first surgery.

Through a gastric bypass sleeve in 2020, Tammy shed almost half of her body weight. However, most people are unaware of what comes with it. Hunter shared that he was unable to finish his meal in one sitting, having last had it back in 2018. Whenever he told people, they asked him back if he was sure he was eating all his food.

Unfortunately, the phase of recovery from gastric bypass was quite physically challenging for Hunter. Hearing him, Tammy quickly recalled her state of displeasure with the whole concept.
