“🚨 Alaskan Bush People Shocker: Rain Arrested, Ami Caught in Scandal – What Really Happened? 😱💔”

In April 2025, Rain Brown, the youngest daughter of the late Billy Brown and one of the most recognizable faces from the long-running reality series Alaskan Bush People, was arrested alongside her husband, Josiah Lorton. The two were charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree malicious mischief, and criminal trespass. They’ve both pleaded not guilty and maintained their innocence. But for fans of the Brown family, this arrest wasn’t just a shock.
It was the latest twist in what has become a deeply fractured and painful family saga. According to court documents, they were accused of stealing more than $170,000 worth of valuables from Josiah’s own uncle, including $75,000 in cash, $85,000 in gold coins, multiple firearms, and a stash of expensive wine.
Surveillance footage and witness testimony reportedly placed the couple at the scene. Both pleaded not guilty and were released without bail a few days later. They’re due back in court later this month. Following her release, Rain took to Instagram, writing, “Judge not, lest you be judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged.
In the caption, she shared her pain over being abandoned by her fans and claimed the real villain was a former manager who had allegedly stolen from her and abused her. She urged people to wait to hear her side of the story. Their arrest came less than a year after Rain found herself at the center of a public and legal battle with her older brother, Noah. The two siblings, once part of a tight-knit wilderness family, have seen their relationship deteriorate into accusations of stalking, drug abuse, and violence, exposing a darker side of the Brown family that the cameras never showed. It all came to a head in August 2024 when Noah and his then wife Rain filed a petition for a restraining order against Rain. In court documents, they claimed Rain had been stalking them and making threats of violence, including threats involving firearms. One of the most chilling accusations came from an incident Noah claimed happened back in July 2022. According to him, Rain said something to the effect of, “My life would be so much easier if you were dead. If only I wouldn’t get caught. I think that my gun is in my room.” He took that threat seriously, and it wasn’t the last. Noah also recalled a disturbing event in May 2023 during a routine task of transporting horses to the family ranch. He said one of the horses fell and couldn’t get up. And when he tried to offer help, Rain snapped. She allegedly screamed, “I would rather the horse die than listen to you. I will kill it myself. Now go wait in your truck or I’ll get my gun right now.” According to Noah, the horse did die shortly after. To him, it was a horrifying moment, one that painted a picture of his sister spiraling. But the accusations didn’t stop at threats. Noah went even further, claiming that Rain was regularly using cocaine and meth and consuming alcohol. He alleged that in December 2023, Rain even offered their mother Amy cocaine to help with a migraine. These weren’t just wild accusations thrown in anger. Noah brought them to court and tried to legally distance himself from his sister. He requested that Rain be forced to give up any firearms, stay 1,000 ft away from him and Rain, and stopped posting anything about them online.
Rain, for her part, didn’t file a counter claim, but she did respond on social media, posting a now deleted Instagram reel that made it clear she was hurt and confused by her brother’s actions. In it, she wrote, “Honestly, his little sister, who struggles with mental health, should be the last person he would attack. Just saying.” She ended the message by saying she was praying for Noah and wishing him a merry Christmas. In the end, Noah’s request for a restraining order was denied in September 2024. The court cited a lack of sufficient evidence and noted that the petition lacked a properly submitted declaration. Essentially, it was thrown out on a technicality. Noah didn’t refile. But the drama didn’t stop there.
In April 2025, just days before Rain’s arrest, Noah again contacted authorities. This time, he accused Rain and their mother, Amy, of abusing meth.
He claimed that Amy was couch surfing with Rain and Josiah, that she was off her medications, drinking heavily, and deteriorating physically. He even told officers that Rain and Josiah had given Amy meth and that Josiah, who had a history with the law, had access to firearms. Officers attempted a welfare check, but were unable to locate Amy. A man who had met Rain and Josiah told police they had a large diaper bag full of pills. The situation was serious enough to spark real concern, but no formal charges came from it, at least not at the time. For fans of Alaskan Bush people, the situation is heartbreaking. What was once a symbol of resilience, family unity, and wilderness strength has become a cautionary tale of how fame, pressure, and unresolved trauma can rip a family apart.
