š¶ Jessa Duggar Slams Claim She & Husband Are āBreeding Like Rabbitsā ā Powerful Response to Online Critics š

In a May 8 YouTube video, the 19 Kids and Counting alum responded directly to frequent online comments questioning her and husband Ben Seewaldās decision to grow their familyāespecially after announcing that they are expecting baby number six.
“People may comment under this video saying, ‘Oh, you’re breeding like rabbits,’ or ‘You’re crazy,’ or ‘Are you trying to follow in your momās footsteps? Are you going to have 19?'”
But Jessa, 32, isnāt letting the negativity get to her.

“Iāve heard a lot of rude and unnecessary commentsābut honestly, those are almost always online,” she said. “Iāve never had anyone say something nasty to my face. Itās always in the comments.”

Jessa and Ben are parents to Spurgeon (9), Henry (8), Ivy (5), Fern (3), and George (1)āand baby #6 is on the way. But according to Jessa, their growing family is not about keeping up with tradition or public expectations.
“At the end of the day, it really comes down to being confident in the decisions weāve made as a couple, as a family, and before God,” she explained. “We donāt live for the opinions or the approval of other people.”
She emphasized that every child is welcomed with thoughtful planning, prayer, and a strong sense of purpose.

While some have speculated about whether the couple will follow in the footsteps of Jessaās famously large family, she says the future is always approached one step at a time.
“In pregnancy or early postpartum, Iām not in a place to decide if weāre done or not,” she shared. “And Benāhis first concerns are always my health, and also our capacity to love each one and help raise them up into adulthood.”
The coupleās approach to parenting is grounded in intentionality, not impulse.
š Shutting Down the Hate With Grace
Jessaās response may be calm and collected, but the message is firm: her familyās journey isnāt up for judgment.
“Really, we just take it one at a time,” she repeated. “Weāre focused on loving the children we have now, and thatās what matters most.”
