š² “Rumors Gone Too Far?” Jinger Duggarās Powerful Clapback to Hurtful Comments About Her Children š¬
Ginger Duggar is setting the recordĀ straight. The mom of three who sharesĀ daughter six-year-old Felicity andĀ four-year-old Evangelene as well asĀ newborn son Finnegan with husband JeremyĀ Vololo is shutting down rumors about whyĀ she’s choosing to protect her children’sĀ privacy online with a fan asking duringĀ an Instagram Q&A April 3rd, “Show usĀ your girls. Is one disabled in someĀ way?” to which Ginger replies, “I’veĀ never answered this question, but sadlyĀ it’s been a rumor for years. This isĀ actually why we don’t show ourĀ children’s faces and choose to give themĀ privacy.” The 31-year-old continues,Ā “One, people demand to see them. Two, weĀ don’t want to subject our kids to howĀ cruel some people can be in theirĀ judgments. It’s honestly just sad to seeĀ these comments come in.”Ā She then ends the post saying, “We haveĀ been blessed with three healthyĀ children, but even if God had chosen toĀ give us a child with a medicalĀ condition, that would in no way changeĀ the way we share them on socials. EveryĀ life is precious and a gift from God.”Ā Ginger, who appeared on TLC’s hitĀ reality show 19 Kids in CountingĀ alongside her parents and siblings forĀ 10 seasons, previously opened up to E!
news in a February 2023 interview aboutĀ her and her husband’s decision to letĀ their kids grow up out of the spotlight.
For our girls, we talked about what weĀ wanted to do with them. And initially,Ā we we had Felicity on the show for aĀ little bit, but then we really feltĀ strongly about having our kids givingĀ them privacy and allowing them to chooseĀ if they want to be in the public eye orĀ not. So, we’ll see what they choose oneĀ day. Um, I think in the world of socialĀ media, everyone’s has an account to someĀ extent, so you’ll be out there a bit.
But as as for now, we’re just protectingĀ their privacy until they can choose whatĀ they want to do.
