Matt Roloff finally reveals shocking secrets about ‘LPBW’ after 20 years with TLC
“If these juicy details aren’t for you, you can skip ahead,” Roloff teased.
The bulk of the post focused on viewers’ confusion over whether the April 23 episode of Little People, Big World was actually the series’ finale.

Roloff attempted to explain why TLC hadn’t made an official announcement. He explained that in 2010, the family decided to leave the show and contacted the network’s lawyers to let them know that it was over.
“We thought we had accomplished our mission of educating the world about life as a Little People in a medium world,” Roloff wrote. “Enough with the TV show!! ….we want to get back to running the farm and living a normal life – so we made it clear to TLC that we were done.”
However, a few weeks later, the network convinced the family to return for a series of specials, finally bringing the show back to its original form for more than a decade.
Given the show’s track record, Roloff reflected, “This is why I think there was some hesitation from TLC to announce that the show was ending.”
Regardless of whether Little People, Big World returns, Roloff maintains that he’s at peace with the situation.

Roloff then turned his attention to a very public event that has surrounded his family for years, namely the controversial sale of the family farm. For all the ups and downs, Roloff admits, “I can’t say I handled it without some mistakes and oversights.”
“It wasn’t easy… especially while filming… and at times it was even painful…..” Roloff writes of the years-long land dispute, “but it all worked out in the end and although looking back I would have liked to change some of my processes… I believe the outcome was better and I loved seeing ALL the kids find their own independence and passions.”
Talking about his relationship with his children, Roloff admits, “I don’t get to see Zach and his lovely kids as often as we would have liked.”
He continued, โIโm so proud of them and the way they raised their family, the way Zach fought his illness and built his own farm is something that makes a proud father to see.โ
Roloffโs son Zach, 33, who has son Jackson, 6, daughter Lilah, 4, and son Josiah, 23 months,
with wife Tori Roloff, underwent brain surgery in February 2023.

Regarding the “dream home” he built with his fiancรฉe, Caryn Chandler, Roloff revealed that the couple moved into their new home “right before Christmas.”
Roloff explained that he’s been too busy lately to focus on the upcoming wedding, and the couple have yet to set a date. “I think we’ll start planning soon,” he said.
Finally, Roloff thanked the Little People, Big World fan community for their support over the years, saying that he “truly enjoyed sharing so much of my life’s journey with you and hopes to meet you all along the way.”
“Without you, we would never have been able to change the world’s perception of little people,” he wrote. “Because of you, I feel like a Big Person in a Small World.”
