Drama Erupts in Plathville – Ethan Says “I Just Don’t Like Him”

Welcome back to the Plath family and Lydia Plath gets very emotional in the brand new trailer for Welcome to Plathville—and it’s not because of her engagement.

This season has by far been the most frustrating one yet. I don’t know if TLC just enjoys airing bullying and bigotry, but the Plath show is losing control.

There’s so much we already know outside of the show thanks to Olivia and Veronica, the ex-girlfriends of Micah and Ethan. But now, viewers are finally getting to see what they’ve been warning us about all along.

The Lunch Scene — Lydia in Tears

In the sneak peek clip, part of the family joins Kim at her house for lunch. Kim’s getting everyone’s take on how they feel about Zach, Lydia’s now husband.

Ethan, of course, shares a few experiences he had with Zach — including what viewers saw as an innocent handshake or hug. Ethan says to the producers: “Zach was climbing all over me.”

Kim quickly replies : “He was not. He was just hugging you.”

And Ethan goes: “Oh god, he’s a hugger.”

They even describe Zach as a softy, comparing Ethan as this rugged “man’s man.” But seriously, do we even remember those old pictures of Ethan?

Ethan says he doesn’t like Zach — with no reason, no examples, and no one-on-one time to justify it.
He then asks Lydia, when they step outside: “What do you even see in him?”

Lydia, of course, lists a lot of reasons — but editing only leaves us hearing her say: “I love him.”

Ethan tries to play the big brother role, warning her to take things slow. But honestly, he’s in no position to give relationship advice to anyone.

Fans Call Out Ethan’s Hypocrisy

Ethan thinks that just because he’s had a few years of freedom from his parents, he knows everything. But the truth is, his hate hits harder than his understanding.

People’s choices — whether to date their own gender or someone of another race — should never cause such strong dislike.

Olivia revealed this in a TikTok video, which gave everyone a bad taste toward Ethan. He even refused to be intimate with Olivia because he was afraid she might raise their child “too worldly.”

Yet now he’s dating a girl who had a baby outside of wedlock, drinking, and hooking up whenever he can — all while unmarried.

Oh, and don’t forget: he once told people he was looking for a girl with “big hooters.” How “pure” is that, really?

When Ethan told Lydia he didn’t like Zach, she burst into tears.
Just be happy for her. If it’s not meant to be, she’ll find out on her own. Don’t let other people’s opinions ruin her marriage.
