On The Sarah Fraser Show, Christine admitted she was shocked when Kody talked about taking another wife in a Sister Wives teaser. Since leaving polygamy, she no longer supports the lifestyle and wondered if Kody and Robyn mentioned it only for the cameras. In her opinion, Kody once embraced monogamy and should not risk jeopardizing his so-called “soulmate situation” with Robyn.
Christine also criticized Kody for hiding his true feelings about Robyn from her, Janelle, and Meri. In her book, she included both painful and humiliating experiences but clarified that she did not reveal everything because some details were too difficult to share. Still, she believed her story would resonate with other women who had been through similar struggles.
Christine admitted she has no idea if Kody or Robyn has read her book, and even if they did, she doubted they would ever directly speak to her about it. If Kody felt upset, she expected to hear about it only “through the grapevine.” For Christine, the memoir represents her lived experience and personal perspective.
Significantly, Christine expressed her wish for Kody to write his own memoir, telling his side of the story. She believes Sister Wives fans would eagerly buy it, as many are curious to understand how Kody thinks and why he acts the way he does. According to Christine, if Kody dared to write such a book, it would definitely be a hit.
Christine also mentioned Kody’s apology to her in the Sister Wives Season 20 trailer. However, she argued that the apology was insincere and left her furious. She admitted she still carries resentment toward him. With her memoir, Christine sees this as her chance to reclaim her voice—while also leaving the door open for Kody to tell his own version of the truth.
