[🔥 S9 PREMIERE RECAP] 90 Day Fiancé Returns with Ultimatums, Clown Drama & BBQ Fights?! 😱

🔥 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9 Premiere Recap — Barbecues, Ultimatums & Total Chaos

The premiere episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9 titled “Welcome to the Party, Pal” delivered everything fans have come to expect — drama, awkward reunions, and some completely unhinged moments (we’re looking at you, clowns).

The season opens with fan favorites Andre and Elizabeth (Libby) on a surprisingly lighthearted pirate boat excursion with their kids. But don’t let the bell-ringing fool you — the couple is heading toward what might be their most tense storyline yet. They’re seriously considering relocating to Moldova so their kids can connect with their roots. Elizabeth, understandably, has reservations, especially since Moldova was originally the place Andre couldn’t wait to leave. Still, it’s a compelling plot point — especially with Andre threatening an ultimatum.

Next, we catch up with Darcy in a literal funhouse of horrors — being chased by creepy clowns while Georgi laughs. It’s comedy gold, especially when Darcy struggles to get off a fun slide. She’s now 50 and still with Georgi, despite their rocky history. Apparently, they’ve been married for a year and are now calling each other “soulmates.” We’ll see how long that lasts.Joey and Yara’s story takes us to the beach where, amid a debate about baby #2, Yara reveals she’s been juggling solo parenting and launching a puppy fashion accessory business — because of course she is. In a classic shade-meets-truth moment, Yara compares Andre to her Eastern European uncles, calling him a “stereotypical” man from that region. Not exactly a compliment.

Then there’s the chaos that is Jasmine and Gino. Jasmine claims Gino kicked her out and calls herself homeless — all while Gino is off in Vegas with a new flame who looks suspiciously like Jasmine 2.0. We find out Jasmine and Gino had an open marriage arrangement (with very strict rules), but she allegedly broke every single one. Gino’s solution? A new girlfriend and more Vegas time. It’s pure reality TV messiness.Cara and Guillermo (aka Gummo) are at odds too. Guillermo quit his job to chase his dream of becoming a pilot, much to Cara’s dismay. They’re sleeping in separate beds, and Cara isn’t convinced his dream is realistic, especially given the time, money, and commitment becoming a pilot requires.

Finally, it’s time for the main event: the barbecue at Lauren and Alexi’s. Couples arrive, tensions simmer — and explode. The topic of Moldova dominates the evening. Libby calls the country corrupt, to which Yara claps back, “Isn’t America corrupt too?” Touché.Meanwhile, Andre drops a bombshell on Alexi: if Libby doesn’t move to Moldova, he’s done. When Alexi shares this at the dinner table, Libby understandably freaks out. Lauren and Andre go head to head, and Andre throws out a brutal jab: “Alex makes the money, not you.” Lauren fires back, saying Libby won’t be happy in Moldova — and if Libby isn’t happy, neither will the kids be.To top it off, Lauren’s friend — who up until this point had no obvious reason for being there — explodes in a screaming match with Andre, calling him a “bad man” and saying he doesn’t deserve a visa. She storms out, slams the door, and it’s officially a party to remember.

TL;DR:

  • Moldova is the hottest topic of the season — and possibly the biggest point of division.

  • Gino, Jasmine, Matt, and the new girl are forming a chaotic love rectangle.

  • Andre is on his villain arc, issuing ultimatums and clashing with everyone.

  • Darcy’s in clown-town, literally.

  • Cara and Guillermo’s marriage is flying through turbulence.

  • Yara remains effortlessly shady and honest — and we’re here for it.

MVP of the episode? That funhouse clown.
Most unhinged? Honestly… it’s a tie between Andre and Gino.

Season 9 is off to a wild start, and if this premiere is any indication, we’re in for a full season of meltdowns, makeups, and madness.
