Jill Duggar and husband Derick Dillard have shared the first photos of their third son , Frederick Michael Dillard – affectionately known as Freddie . The couple happily announced the good news to fans via Instagram and their family blog.
👶 Baby Freddie is Born!
Freddie was born on July 7, 2022 , at 5:16 p.m. He weighed 3.35 kg and was 50 cm long when he was born . Jill shared that Freddie was their “rainbow baby” – born after a previous tragic miscarriage.
She wrote on Instagram:
“If you missed last week’s blog post… Freddie – Frederick Michael Dillard – has come into the world!”
🧡 Meaning of Special Names
Jill and Derick chose the name “Frederick” because it means “peaceful ruler ,” and “Michael” means “gift from God . ”The name also has a personal meaning for the family. Jill shared that Frederick was created by adding the word “Free” to the front of Derick’s name – just as Derick’s name was created from “Rick,” his late father’s name.
🏥 Born A Little Early
Freddie was due later, but Jill had a planned caesarean section a little earlier. He was born just a day before his brother Samuel ‘s birthday .
Jill wrote:
“Both mother and baby are healthy, and we are so happy to be home together.”
🎉 Baby Showers and Missing Faces
Before giving birth, Jill had a baby shower hosted by her cousin Amy King . However, many people noticed that very few of Jill’s siblings attended . Although the family said it was a scheduling coincidence, this still raised doubts about Jill’s relationship with the Duggar family
Recently, Jill has made many changes in her life, such as going to therapy , sending her children to formal school , and distancing herself from negative influences from her parents .
