Eric were I remember Cody I remember Cody was and I that was the first time I thought he’s on he must be on amphetamines because he was racing up and down that hill and I was like something’s wrong this guy just did meth.
You guys, we’ve got to talk about special forces. We are getting so much tea on what it’s like to interact with Cody Brown. It’s kind of insane. For years, we’ve had to draw our own conclusions on what Cody Brown could be like in real life because we’ve never gotten anything that’s felt authentic because Cody’s co-stars were his family members who were trying to be on their best behavior in order to keep him showing up from time to time to play dad for a few minutes.

None of the cast of Special Forces gives a about what Cody thinks about them, and they are spilling all of the tea on what it was like to spend up to a week and a half with him in Morocco. We have a lot to discuss today. Let’s get into today’s video.
Hey everyone, what’s up? It’s Sarah and welcome back to my channel. It really seems like everyone has a podcast these days and you can view that as a blessing or a curse. Today, for the purposes of discussing what it’s like to interact with Cody Brown, it is for sure a blessing. Gia Judites, Ravi Patel, Briana Leaglia, Shawn Johnson, and Andrew East, Jesse James, and Eric Decker, and Randall Cobb are all cast members from season 4 of Special Forces who have spoken out about what it was like working and living with Cody Brown.

And let’s just say the overall consensus is not flattering. There’s been speculation about possible substance use, accusations of using expired supplements, possible neurological conditions, eccentricities, and overall just not being a great team player. From these podcast episodes, I think Briana Chicken Fry Leaglia has the most negative feelings about Cody, but they all seem to agree. Cody was for sure the weirdest cast member. Here’s a clip of Briana and Ravi on the podcast KFC radio. And Briana describes Cody as the cast member she had the biggest issues with.
I feel like our season had to have been exceptional in terms of the quality of people. Everyone was really tough.
It’s a squad name, too. Like like all the names you read off were like these are legit.
people who you wouldn’t expect to be tough as hell like got through this thing in an insane way and everyone was really like when the first day I looked around I’m like that could be one of that could be one of the unsufferable people that could be one of the insufferable people and for the most part like I thought everyone was Why’ you say names Revy who were you saying well I was wrong though I was wrong yeah I there there was only one person on the cast I like didn’t get along with why’ you say names Cody Brown.
I don’t even know who it is.

Who is it? Cody was probably the one that the most people I think didn’t get get along with because he’s the sister wives guy, but I didn’t know who he was going into the show. I never heard of sister wives. He had like multiple what? He had like he has like 28 kids and like four wives or some __ He used to have four wives now.
Bro, you know what? That sounds guy hard to get along with.
That sounds worse as horses. I’d rather do that than have 28 kids and four wives.
He’s down to one wife. He kept tell He kept telling us he wasn’t a polygamist because he only has one wife now.
Um which I don’t know if that’s how it works, but I was like, “No, I think we just have one left.” I think you’re like out of wives.

All of Yeah, you got dumped, bro.
Yeah, he’s just like he’s just like he’s almost like a like a 10-year-old boy in terms of his like enthusiasm for doing things and he has a way of in every moment he’s observing what’s happening and kind of saying it out loud and then also trying to give motivational speeches to everyone around him and that really he’s [ __ ] up every challenge and I always had to be with him on everything and I’m I’m mommying him. I’m like you’re three times my age, bro. Oh my god. I had a blowout fight with him. I was like, I hope this isn’t even aired cuz I was like, you suck. I do not like you. We’re not the same. I’m so frustrated. I want to circle back to what Robbie said about not really being sure if you’re not polygamist anymore just because you only have one wife left. I think we can accurately say Christine is no longer a polygamist because she has publicly separated herself from her former religion and the practice of plural marriage. I think you could also say that Mary is no longer a polygamous and she was granted a release from Cody. But Cody has only ever claimed to be a monogamous by default.
He about how hard it was to have three nagging wives, but he’s never said he no longer believes that polygamy is the way to Bloomingdale’s heaven. So, I think Ravi brings up a good point.

Briana has a whole other podcast of her own called Plan Bri Uncut. And a couple of weeks ago after the episode aired in which we saw Cody chuckling after asking Briana what her qualifications for being on special forces was, you know, being a podcaster is so much more laughable than being famous for being a polygamist.
Briana gets on her podcast and reads this dude for filth. It’s a crazy show.
I don’t think many people like seek to go on special forces as the reality show that they go on. like they want to do Big Brother or the Challenge or Traders or The Bachelor or Dancing with the Stars. No one wants to go on special forces and if they do, they’re insane.
They’re Cody Brown. If they like seek out special forces, you’re  crazy. And that’s like someone like Cody Brown. Um, which I could get into a lot a lot about Cody Brown. And after seeing clips of last night where he just like completely diminishes my whole entire like livelihood being like podcasting.
He asked me what I did and I was like podcasting? He’s like that’s your qualification? That’s how you make your money.
Sir, how do you make your money?
Berating women, being a narcissist on a TV show.
Is that’s how you make your money?
That’s what I should have said. I didn’t know who he was. I didn’t know what he I didn’t know who this man was on the show. I didn’t know who anyone was. I didn’t know who Jesse Smlet was. I didn’t know what he went through. I would have asked him more questions. I would have been like more involved in that. I didn’t know anyone’s story. I know Gia’s story. I knew Teresa’s story.
I didn’t know anything else. And I obviously knew Mark Estus, but his highlight episode hasn’t happened yet. I don’t know if he has like a story. I didn’t know Swaggy P’s story. I didn’t know anyone’s freaking story. But if I knew who Cody Brown was, I wouldn’t have been so like nonchalant. I thought he was like mentally slow to be honest.

Sister Wives' Kody Brown Came to 'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test' for a Reason That's Already Backfiring

I was like I felt bad for him cuz I was like oh he has like a like you know when you feel bad for old people I felt bad for him because he feels I felt like he had no social cues which he doesn’t and I don’t feel bad saying any of this after I know who he is and like what he thinks about women and how he treated women and yeah like during the show I felt bad being mean to him cuz I’m like he’s slow you know what I mean like you can’t be mean to someone that has special needs.
That’s crazy. But he doesn’t have special needs. He’s just mentally  But after all the I’ve seen about him after, I’m like, “Oh my god, Brianna, if I let the Briana wrath actually go on this guy, it would have been epic. This man is an insane person. And he treats women so badly, so poorly.” Briana says during filming she felt bad being mean to him because she thought he was mentally slow.
But he’s not slow, says Briana. He’s just mentally Mentally is absolutely an accurate way to describe Cody Brown. Ravi Patel, who appears to have gotten along with everyone, went on Gia Judice’s podcast called Casual Chaos, and the two of them discussed their experiences with Cody.
I remember Cody I remember I remember Cody was and I that was the first time I thought he’s on he must be on amphetamines because he was racing up and down that hill and I’m like this is not I’m in really good shape and I’m almost positive I’m crushing it right now. and he was like zipping by me almost like a cartoon and I was like something’s wrong. This guy just did meth. It was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. And and and he was like that throughout the competition. His training. Did you talk to him about his training? He’s That guy’s hilarious. You should interview him. He’s the most interesting guy in the whole cast.
Sorry. He did handstands for warm-ups.
He did a handstand where he walked around on a handstand as a warm-up and he would work out for three hours a day or something like that. Four hours.

Christine Brown Jokes About Kody Competing on 'Special Forces,' Reveals If She'll Watch

Crazy. And he always had a weighted vest. Listen, the state that he was in and how physically fit he was for his age was wildly impressive.
I’m not kidding. I think he is the most interest like fascinating guy in the cast. Like the way he first of all, obviously he comes from, you know, the oddest background of anyone, I would say. But then he uh the way he prepared and just like the little thing he’s just got a lot of little he’s just I don’t know. He’s an eccentric dude.
For the most part on special forces, he was, you know, he honestly seemed like very he was very caring. There were certain points where I felt like espe cuz I was partnered with him at some at some time. So I mean I think he faces like a lot of controversy in some of the challenges because he was so physically fit and he really he really was probably one of the most physically fit out of all of us. He he was advanced. He could just speed through these challenges. And I I thought like his personality is like a earnest uh 12-year-old boy. Like a guy who’s really uh excited to be there. He’s always giving everyone unsolicited tips on what needs to happen next. But I think he rubbed a I I know he rubbed at least a couple people the wrong way, but I didn’t actually see any of that. Did you have beef with him or were you tight with him?

I didn’t have actual beef with him, but I was in a challenge with him. You know, Bri got a little annoyed. He just wasn’t being the best team player because he felt that he could, you know, go and excel during that challenge. maybe we were kind of holding him back a little bit. He did have really great things about him and then I obviously think you saw his struggles which just come from the way he grew up and I think he did a good job.
I think he just his people skills, social emotional intelligence are probably not where he wants them to be.
And he also strikes me as a guy who’s going through like I I think it appears that he’s like going through a somewhat beautiful kind of like he’s trying to reinvent himself and grow up.
So Robbie describes Cody’s behavior as zipping by him like a cartoon and thinking to himself, Cody must be on amphetamines or meth or something. He was flying by professional athletes.
Now, Cody did say in an interview before Special Forces aired that he had like 9 weeks to prepare, and you can tell he took the prep more seriously than some of the other cast members we saw that struggled and tapped out early. Ravi tells Gia she needs to interview Cody because he thinks that Cody was the most fascinating to talk to. Gia goes on to point out a classic Cody personality trait that we see on Sis Rives all the time. Cody trained and he performed well in the challenges, but he was leaving his team in the dust. He wasn’t a team player at all. He also wasn’t a team player with his family. He routinely put himself above his family and he just doesn’t pay attention to anyone who may be struggling around him. Shawn Johnson and Andrew East have a podcast called Couple Things and they had almost all of the Nashvillebased cast members on their podcast recently and they talked about Cody and his apparent stash of expired supplements.
