Fans were introduced to the Brown family, led by Ami and the late Billy Brown, through the reality series, Alaskan Bush People. The Discovery Channel series originally ran from 2014 to 2022, lasting fourteen seasons.

Bear Brown, Ami and Billy’s middle son, has often kept fans updated about his life on social media. Recently, the Alaskan Bush People star took to Instagram to share such an update in a video.

As the video opened up, Bear shared that he was leaving Texas, with his upcoming flight already booked, and was on his way to Washington. As he explained, “Washington’s the first part of my journey where I’m going to get all my gear and stuff together.”

As previously reported, Bear is planning to start a new life in Ketchikan, Alaska. In the video, he shared he would be staying in Texas until his son Everest’s birthday in August, noting, “It’s crazy how fast time flies by.” Afterward, he would be heading up to Washington and continue his journey to Alaska.

In the interim, Bear noted that he still had to get his gear ready. This included a small generator, which he said he needed to help charge utensils.
