Anna Duggar Offered Unusual Advice To Joe In Recent Email

After news had come out of Joseph and Kendra Duggar’s recent arrests back in March, the aftermath has made multiple headlines. Various other members of the Duggar family have also shared reactions to what happened. Recently, reports have come out that Anna Duggar gave Joe, her brother-in-law, some interesting advice.
Joseph Duggar Was Arrested In Connection To A 2020 Incident In Florida
Members of the Duggar family, led by Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, became introduced to audiences through reality shows like 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On. Joseph Duggar is Jim Bob and Michelle’s seventh child.
In his personal life, Joe married Kendra Caldwell in 2017. The two have since started their own family together, sharing four children.

However, last month, news had come out that Joe was arrested over child molestation charges in connection with a 2020 incident in Florida. Within a few days, it was reported that Kendra herself was arrested, with Joe facing other charges.
When the news came out, the story drew comparisons with Joe’s brother, Josh Duggar, who had been found guilty on charges of receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material in 2021. He was sentenced to over 12 years in prison the following year.
Joseph Spent Time In The Same Detention Center As Josh
Notably, it was recently reported that Josh’s wife, Anna, with whom he married in 2008, had shared advice with Joe during his legal issues. Something that made the advice surprising for many, however, was the seemingly light tone of the message, especially at the start. In an email obtained by Radar Online, Anna wrote, “Hey Joseph! Bro, you’ve got our prayers. We love you — however we can help, please let us know.” She added, “I think I put some money on your books. I don’t remember how phone calls and video calls work.”
Likely thinking of her own experience with her own spouse’s incarceration, Anna offered, “Please let me know if I can help get things set up so you can call and talk with Kendra.” She continued, “Just remember, don’t talk about anything legal unless you are with an attorney. Everything said in these messages, phone calls, and video chats are recorded and turned over to prosecutors.”

Anna also had a few questions for Joe, asking whether or not he was in solitary or a pod. She also noted that Josh’s own experience at Washington County seemed “safe.” As the outlet noted, Joe spent around a week in the same jail as his older brother.
